[Open] Choose Your Own Adventure!
Who: Sora
lockandkeyblade and YOU!
What: Sora's on the offensive! Let's bash some heads in, Asgard. Action tags and Prose both welcome.
When: Throughout the day.
Where: All over the city
Rating: Possible All-Out-Attacks, nurses, baseball, mistaken identities, and flailing of the lolarious sort.
[ Scenario A > Fighters: Execute Reaction Command! ]
[Wherever you are, whatever district you're fighting in, you might happen upon this sixteen year old boy in the streets. But not from the ground. He'll drop down from a rooftop, dealing a whirlwind of blows at any fairies who may be approaching you from a vulnerable spot. But a few moments of watching you dispatch several fairies yourself, and Sora already knows: you're more than capable of handling yourself. That's why, somewhere along the way, Sora will throw a glance your way, a conspiratorial grin, and with a mighty CRACK! he'll send a Fairy sailing in your direction, dazed and confused just for you. Batter's up!
[Scenario B > Assist! ]
[Sora's at the tail end of a particularly vicious battle (Geeze, those guys could get really nasty when they started ganging up on you) and he needs just a moment to collect himself. He comes to a stop, wiping at his forehead with the back of his hand. His jacket is torn, and there are dried smears of red along his arm, claw marks at his leg. He's far from throwing in the towel, but it sure looks like the kid could use a healer. Maybe even just an energy boost.]
[ Scenario C > Get Rescued! ]
[Assistance comes in last moment, when a fairy closes in, claws outstretched and aiming for a vicious strike. Before the claws can make contact, a boy wielding what looks to be a rather large key skids in front of you, deflecting the hit. One hard swing of the strange blade sends the fairy back, just enough for Sora to turn to you.]
You okay?
[ooc: Prose or Action Tags are both welcome! Feel free to pick any of these options or just make up your own if it suits your fancy. I'll follow your lead.]

Cloud is a dead man if Asgard is ever visited by Angeal, but he seems pleased with himself, Sora getting a smirk in answer for his grin. ] Wanna try that again, kid?
Awww, yiis. Whats up ma bash brotha
Sora spins the keyblade in his hand, a habit he's more prone to do in company he trusts.]
Think you can handle it?
[Two or three more fairies have been drawn to the commotion on either side of the street, some clambering over rooftops, and the others toddling in from alleyways. Looks like there's plenty to practice with, right Cloud?]

[HELL YES SCENARIO A COME TO ME]
It's not until that moment -- the grin, and the perfectly offered up fairy -- that Vriska actually pauses. But, well -- first things first.
Her grin is huge and amused and fangy, and boy is she ready. A katana doesn't make the greatest baseball bat, but she makes do, and with a vicious upward swing, she manages to shatter its head with the flat of her blade. It falls to the ground, and Vriska finally inspects the boy she's been fighting next to.
Brown hair, blue eyes, way too helpful. Definitely not Vanitas. But who is this kid, and why are they identical? Well, almost identical. Reminds her of Ven and Roxas, almost. ]
So should I be saying thanks for the freebie or what??
Yeeaaahhh- Fairy bashin: Keyblade-kid and Marquise ROUND 1. FIGHT
[A chuckle. Not quite thanks, but Sora doesn't miss a beat.] Just thought you could use a little warm up.
[He shields his eyes from the sun-- a gesture to direct Vriska's attention behind her more than than to see better. Several fairies are ambling their way, slinking out from around buildings, hopping down from fixtures and rooftops.]
But it looks like the cavalry is here. [That grin is back.] Think you can keep up?
A because Frey's made for this stuff
So when he spots Sora's grin, he grins and nods in return, and when that fairy is sent flying towards him that staff of his is collapsed into pieces connected by chains- he catches the creature in his weapons grasp, taking a sidestep to slam it to the ground just a few steps to his side before kicking the creature away to untangle his weapon and reform it to cleanly smash the fairy's skull. The entire process takes only a split second.]
Thanks.
Hell yeah he is. /BROFIST
By the time that Frey finishes his display, Sora's already landing beside the other, hand raised for a congratulatory fist bump.]
Looks like you're doing fine.
/BROFIST
.... Um... what does that mean, exactly?
[Pointing to the raised fist. He didn't seem to be seeking a handshake, but.....]

I'll break the A CHAIN with a B one! 8D
Sora! [Just from taking one look, she could easily tell he needed help.] Are you okay? [As she swings her frying pan against another fairy.]
C-C-COMBO BREAKER
[Sora straightens and makes his way towards her, keeping an eye out for fairies that might try and ambush him when he's not paying attention.]
Not too shabby! Sure could use my magic right about now.
[Fire magic, and healing, more specifically.]
How're you holding up?
Combo breaker using the frying pan of doom! 8D
Leon and Yuffie aren't the only warrior types around, you know. I can hit just as hard. [So you better watch out, Sora, because she has no fears using a frying pan. But she does miss using her magic as much.] You're not alone on the sentiment. I miss being able to heal you on a time like this, but we've got to work with what we do have. [And what she does have is a bottle of Hi-Potion. A healer never leaves without one in case of an emergency.] Here, take it. You definitely need it more than I do.
[Smiles.] I'm doing okay. I've been helping over at the hospital while leading others there. You should come visit to take a break, I'll have something ready for you to eat.
[And then she'll get up after spotting another group of fairies heading their way. Yup, it's batter up time.]
Can I trust you for support? Just in case I miss?

OPTION A 8)
A boot comes up and kicks it off the end of the weapon, and it pitches onto it's back in the street, skidding a couple feet back towards Sora before it comes to a stop--a concave hole where it's forehead and eyes used to be.]
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM
But all's fair in ice-fairy invasions and war, and Sora doesn't see the need to keep his guard up around the stranger. No one aside from a certain total jerkface on Valentines day has even presented themselves as a danger to Sora, so he doesn't hesitate to engage a fairy a little closer to the hooded figure.
In fact, another fairy is sent flying in Vanitas' direction, though it collides with another fairy about three feet to Vanitas' right, sending them tumbling backwards.
A pause in the action has Sora giving the hooded figure a bit of a nod for his earlier hit. Not bad!]

oh let's go with C
he'd definitely overestimated his abilities without his l'Cie powers, though; his boomerang may have been able to take out a lone fairy, but against a crowd, he didn't stand a chance. still, he'd somehow managed to get down to two—not without a bunch of cuts and scratches, of course—but he's pretty much all fought out at the moment. oh, what he wouldn't do for his magic right now.
he closes his eyes instinctively as one of the fairies goes in for a final blow, fearing the worst, when the clang! of something blocking the hit brings him back to his senses. looks like someone else has done the job he'd planned on doing himself. he regains his composure and nods as he hears the other boy's question.]
Y-yeah, I am now... thanks.
HEY THERE FREYA BB!
Looks like you could use a little hand clearing out the street.

LET'S MAKE UP SCENARIO D, SHALL WE? BD
The boy in question has a rather... odd weapon but at least it's effective when using in a fight. And he seems to be wielding it well, with ease, so that was another thing to note.
But as the assassin watches, more fairies come in, and one in particular claws its way up towards the top of the building behind Sora. Instantly, the maestro is behind cover, waiting to see what exactly this thing is going to do- and when he sees that creature sneak its way to the edge of the roof and eyeing the boy. Which means Ezio has no time to waste, moving towards it already. In a flash, he leaps, hand blade extended, and he lands on the ice figure, stabbing the neck and twisting, tearing the head from the body. As he rises, the body meets gravity and falls off the rooftop, shattering into pieces while Ezio settles for another fairy nearby, jumping from the rooftop and using it for a landing cushion, killing that one as well.
Who says two badasses can't meet and fight side by side in this war? Your move, Sora.]
bloody hell, it ate my tag. But PHEW, there's suddenly a whole lot of badass in here. /fans self *A*
Sora recognizes help when he sees it, and uses the distraction to launch himself forward to strike at the three fairies, sending them backwards with indignant, almost inhuman cries.
There's just enough time for Sora to turn to Ezio and throw him an appreciative nod.
The fairies rally for another attack, ambling forward in what's soon to be a run, with little understanding of how short their time's been cut.]
Oh hell yes, Asgard won't know what hit it.
[B] I'LL DELETE it if you'd rather do something else jdfbgk
THIS IS COOL BB. COME LEAP INTO MY ARMS, NAMI PIE
He's airborne, keyblade clanging right against the midsection of a fairy in mid-leap and it goes sailing, skidding on the asphalt in the distance. The second fairy, Sora assaults with a series of blows. At the end of it all, the fairy teeters and sways before it slumps forward onto the ground, just a mass of broken ice and a spiderweb of cracks.
Sora gives a firm nod at the sight of the fallen fairies-- serves them right.]
You okay Namine?
/LEAPS INTO ARMS?!
/ON A WHITE HORSE, ITS TTLY AMAZIN
:OOOOOO /SWOON?!
BUTTON MASH AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
And hey, for a kid, whoever this boy is, he's kind of amazing. There aren't too many younger kids Rose knows who can knock around a slug, let alone a deadly ice fairy. Really, she might just have her little gun, and it may not pack a punch nearly as hard as her Dalekcanium blaster, but it was more than handy for- as mentioned, fairies. God knows Rose never thought they were something she'd ever fight. Sure, Fairyland wasn't exactly a tame place, but this was ridiculous.
But as that little grin is shared- something she's more than willing to indulge, she whips her arms up, the palm-sized gun firing off, blasting a phase of laser light through and through the little ice creature. Within seconds, it was bursting into shards of ice. Dead.]
Hah! Gotcha, y'little wretch!
ITS SUPER EFFECTIVE
[It could totally happen! It's kind of like when you shove your hand in your back pocket and in fact find twenty dollars! Only instead you find a handy dandy phaser.
Conveniently enough, that phaser happens to take out the dazed fairy in one precise shot. It's far more effective with one pull of the trigger than five swings of his imitation keyblade, that's for sure.]
Where do I get one of those?!
!!!

B
So without warning, he plants his hand on Sora's exposed arm and focuses. It's a bit strange to suddenly feel a little more weighed down and exhausted, a little more cold from those new areas of frostbite, but really, if it helps Sora out, it's all for the best.]
You really need to learn when to call it quits.
ICON KEYWORDS (yea)
[A burden's been lifted off of his shoulders, load lightened. He knows it's Riku taking the damage onto himself. If it were anyone else, Sora might object. But he's long become accustomed to working together as a team with Riku. Given the chance, he'd probably do the same for his friend.]
[He shoots the other a grin.] Lucky I've got you around to remind me.
[Truth be told, he doesn't feel right sitting around recuperating when he could be out helping people. Every minute he spends at the hospital or at a safehouse means more fairies out to hurt people. He rolls his shoulder and nods at Riku gratefully.] Thanks.
Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa

C
But the fact is, he's not, and after trying to take on some of these pests, he's both exhausted and pretty cold, and that's with his fur and gloves on!
SO... when Sora comes to the rescue, Sonic heaves a sigh of relief.]
It's cool, man. Thanks for the assist!
