[OPEN + CLOSED] Just stay awake, stay alive
Who: An unconscious/half-conscious Ezio (
sicarius) and you!
What: WELP. Looks like someone's bleeding all over from suddenly disappearing and then reappearing back in the city.
When: Now, day 95
Where: ...lmao I have no clue THE HORSE HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN??? They'll head towards Sigyn in the open section though so idek
Rating: PG-13 at most, he's kinda bleeding because he was shot whoops
Note: Ezio will be found by the AC crew first and so that part will be closed. Then he'll be taken by horse to the hospital, which will be open.
[This is all wrong.
He hadn't expected it- to sleep in Asgard for just a second, only to be back home and not remember anything of the city run by the gods. Not remember the faces, the names, the adventures...
Not even the promises made.
Right now, Ezio can barely register anything around him. His right shoulder feels cold and he can't seem to move it, let alone move the rest of his body. It's like a dead weight, the trodding of the horse the only thing that is constant and very real at this moment. He's been traveling, traveling, making his way to Roma to warn Machiavelli and everyone else of the ambush of the villa. The sabotage of Monteriggioni. The death of his uncle by Borgia hands.
How many people would he keep losing to them?
His semi-conscious train of thought vaguely registers the sound of a thud, and a slight pain that comes from his side, though he's too weak to even realize he's fallen off his horse. The maestro only hears it, thinks of it as something he might have hit or bumped into, doesn't register that he's on the road of Asgard by now and bleeding out against the ground. All that comes to his ears is the sweet sound of silence, that guarantees rest. And for once, he does not argue, letting unconsciousness take over and slip him into an endless and empty void.]

FOR THE AC CREW

[ claudia is on her knees, leaned over her brother, and pressing trembling hands to his shoulders. she does not cry. word travels fast, especially in a city this small, and some accident of a broadcast only makes claudia faster; she had dropped everything, leaving a confused crew of workers at the bathhouse-brothel, and taken to the roofs. — can't run in these ridiculous modern shoes, though, and claudia's feet are dirty, now. she had thrown them off without a second thought. speaking in italian and voice, even: ]
Ezio, wake up. Wake up!

...Claudia...?
[His voice is weak, tired. He doesn't understand- didn't he leave her and mother to go to Florence? Why...
It's apparent he's conflicted and while he struggles to make sense of it, at least he's being kept awake in doing so.]

Good. [ she doesn't sigh in relief, though. ] Tell me, is it only your shoulder —?
[ god, there is so much blood. so, so much. and the fact people return to life in asgard is, suddenly, of no comfort. claudia has spent the majority of her life waiting for moments like this, and the longer she waited, the more controlled she thought she would feel. instead, it feels like the fear is clawing her heart and ribcaging her brain, and her stomach exists somewhere beneath her feet. it's easier to be told of the dead than to watch them. ]

FOR ERRYONE ELSE - IN THE HOSPITAL
;A;
And now here she is, in the hospital, having been notified that Ezio was eventually found and carried here. She never liked hospitals, remembering vividly these months she spent being hooked on a machine with her whole body wrapped in bandages and a drop of life left in her.
Then again, who ever likes hospitals?
Her desire to see her friend again trumps all of her discomfort. Soon, she will be indicated to his room, and she quietly steps in. Hanako was warned that he's still semi-conscious, but she couldn't wait. She needed to confirm that he's out of danger now, or else she won't be able to give herself peace for days to come. The urge to know the reasons why he got injuried so badly can wait. ]
SHAKING AND CRYING EMOTE
He hears the click of the door open and shut, and while normally his head would snap to with agility, he sluggishly brings it along. However, upon seeing Hanako, his eyes light up, a smile coming to his face.]
...ciao, Hanako.

[ She notices Claudia by his side, but her main focus is on him. Thinking that he was sleeping, Hanako freezes briefly on the spot when he calls to her- but seeing his smile sort of relieves her. ]

Gently, he lays his cheek on her head, tired and wishing he somehow could have remembered, made this better, easier to understand and accept. But he can't. It's another gaping hole in his heart, one that is just as quickly filled with grief as it is with vengeance.
He hates this.]

It's not your fault.

Re: FOR ERRYONE ELSE - IN THE HOSPITAL
It was such a long run here as it is, it's amazing Alice doesn't keel over on her feet. She hates hospitals, too. She cringes as she approaches his bed, trying her best to hide her feelings.]
Ezio...?
[She's shaking, and swearing there's no tears welling up in her eyes.]

Here have a strawberry
So when he finally woke up and checked the network, it only took a moment-after having his blood run cold and fighting the urge to dash out the door-to notice the time stamp on the recording. By now, Ezio would have been taken to the hospital, wouldn't he? He'd be better off heading there than running off and trying to find him.
By the time he got there (relying on normal running speed instead of his powers; he didn't want to risk a repeat of what had happened to him); the nurses told him that visiting hours were over, and that only family could see the older man now.
There was only a second of hesitation on Ichigo's part before he told the nurses he was family, so could they please get the hell out of his way. And, with so many new travelers and the strange ties they bore, the nurses couldn't be sure he wasn't. Sure, he didn't look anything like Ezio, but...
And as they hesitated, he merely pushed right past them and up to Ezio's room. He was about to knock-then stopped, not sure if Ezio was asleep or not. If he was, Ichigo didn't want to wake him. So, slipping in the room with more restraint than he was feeling, he took a look over at the bed-Thank god, he's back-and sat down in a chair close to the bed.]
...You look like hell.
[Said softly, quietly, with a hint of a teasing smile. But mostly, there's relief under it all.]
no subject
So when the door opens unexpectedly, Ezio turns his head, thinking it's a nurse- to find a certain orange-haired bimbo taking a seat nearby.]
And you look like you've seen far too many ghosts today, amico.
[Teasing him in return, but thankful at least that he's doing fine.]
