What: Girls' night.
When: Sometime after Jade's post and before the sea adventure!
Where: Jade and Draco's apartment.

[ Jade hadn't had a proper sleepover since she'd gone across the hall back when she lived in Sigyn to braid hair with Fluttershy. It was neat! Exciting! (It would probably be crashed by her roommate, but surely Rose would get over that.)

Honestly, the idea of a movie and pizza with Rose was novel and exciting; she'd never gotten to spend much time with her in her previous visits to Asgard, and she was the one of her friends she hadn't met in person in Sburb.

So Jade waited on the couch, already in pajamas, fiddling with her bracelet as she waited for Rose to arrive. ]

[ Rose isn't -- oh who is she kidding? She's completely nervous. The only girl she's had a sleepover with is Kanaya, and that's definitely different. More....pointed. More challenging to impress, to seem cool. Nevertheless, getting to spend traditional "girl time" with someone is something she's completely out of her element with. But there was a lot to talk about, and she did really want to spend time with Jade. Sacrifices had to be made -- such as her slight edge in the element of 'cool'.

So she knocks on the door, her spare clothes stuffed into a small bag in her hand. ]

[ Jade is on her feet in an instant, moving to the door and pulling it open. The first thing Rose will probably notice is the over-friendly German Shepherd pup nosing around her feet, circling her in enthusiastic greeting, and Jade steps back with a little grin to let her inside.

It's a nice apartment. Cozy, maybe, but certainly tidy. ]

Hi, Rose! Thanks for coming over.

[ Rose isn't really sure what to do with dogs -- she's very much a cat person. Do you...touch it? What do you do with it? How does one dog?

So she settles for looking fondly at the puppy and smiling at Jade. ]

No problem. To tell the truth, I'm glad to have a bit of girl time after all the dick-comparing contests at home. [ Literal or metaphorical? The world will never know. Rose steps inside, admiring the apartment. ] You've got a nice apartment. Much nicer than my little room.

[ You touch and love and hold and snuggle and play fetch with dogs, Rose, jeez, they are only the best pets ever. Jade beams softly as she shuts the door behind her, though, expression fond. ]

My roommate is kind of a stickler for nice things. And tidiness, sometimes. When it suits him.

[ She reaches for Rose's bag, though, offering to take it. ]

Him?

[ Rose has never had a dog before, why can't they act more like cats! But she hands the bag over carefully. And of course, she knows exactly who her roommate is -- she was stalking that post, after all! -- but she wants to hear more about him from Jade herself. ]

[ To be perfectly honest, Jade's dog is a pretty dumb one. He's a hair's breadth from peeing himself in excitement at Rose's mere presence. Sweet, though, and he means well.

Jade moves to place the bag carefully on a chair in the corner, shooting a meaningful look to Osiris - don't bother this!! ]

Oh, yeah, um. Draco Malfoy? I don't know if you know him. He runs a potion shop here. Blonde, kind of cranky looking most of the time.

I've seen him on the bracelet network once or twice. He seems like a nice person under that sharp exterior.

[ Rose bends down to attempt to make nice with the dog. Since it looks so excited and all. ]

Also, your puppy's cute. Even if I don't really have a thing for dogs like you do. . . but I assume we're not here to talk about puppies. Unless that's what usually happens at a girl's night?

We're here to... watch bad movies and eat popcorn, I think.

[ Jade grins a little, heading over to the couch. ]

Oooor we could do each other's hair. I think your work might be cut out for you, though.
