July: General Fourth-Wall Mingle

What: General mingling for the fourth wall event!
When: Day 290 - 293 (July 5 - 11)
Where: All across the city!
Rating: PG-13. Anything that might go higher than that should be taken to a private log, please!

[ Away from the rest of the festivities, there are still new arrivals popping into unexpected places without warning on Day 290 (July 5). Guards and maids will be wandering around with baskets of the temporary bracelets, looking to give one to every visitor along with any information they might need to thrive in the days until their gods can sort out this magical mishap.

Temporary housing will be set up in the Folkvang Comfort House of the Freya District and the Arena in the Thor District. They’ll be given bedding, food, clothes and anything else they might need without charge, though they are more than welcome to find shelter with familiar faces or elsewhere.

Feel free to wander the streets at will, but try not to poke noses where they aren’t welcome, lest they get the rolled up newspaper. ]

[This is -- streams colliding. Or like bringing a girlfriend home to meet his parents. Conan isn't sure exactly why he's embarrassed or who he's embarrassed of or for, just that he is very, acutely nervous right now.]

Conan-kun gets into trouble regardless, of course -- but that's just Conan-kun! I guess I don't have to tell John-san, that?

[Ran is curious. How does an elementary school student become friends with a grown up foreigner?]

[Ran laughs, totally oblivious to Conan's increasingly frantic flailing beside her.]

Yeah. Reasoning-nut and absolute genius. It’s horrible.

[ He really doesn’t mean that, but. It has its moments. Living with Sherlock. ]

[Ran laughs.] You're telling me! Tou-san's a detective -- and he's absolutely useless at keeping house or finances! My best friend, Shinichi's, the same! He can solve cases that the Metropolitan Police can't, but can he make anything more complicated than a slice of toast?

[Conan's now looking extremely put upon.]
