The back reads: Come celebrate the fact that we're not dead. Anymore. There will be food, drink, really bad stories, possible pantslessness (though I'm wearing 2 belts), and more hijinks than you can shake a stick at. The Wake will be held at the Roadhouse and should be starting around 5, but come at your own pace. Bring a story to share or some pie. Actually, screw the story, just bring pie.

Seriously though, Derek and Jackson can get lost.

That's gross. No way. [ He's totally lying. ] You know girls who put mud on their faces? Why do they do that? [ He's thinking of mud masks which he totally doesn't understand because he's a boy. Please explain, Allison. ] My mom did it once and I kind of screamed when I saw her. I asked her about the mud but she didn't answer me. [ Because she was too offended by him screaming at the sight of her. ] I think I'm a little drunk. [ Because he was talking. A lot. About mud. ]

[gymnast]

I think you're a little drunk, too. [ Letting go of his hands, Allison turns around so she can face him, arms moving to wrap around his neck. ] How many have you had?

[mccallmemaybe]

[ Scott loops his arms around her waist at the same time she puts her arms around his neck. He could give her a number, or he could give her this answer instead: ] Not enough to make you feel like you're taking advantage of me if you want to make out in a corner with me?

[gymnast]

[ Her eyebrow quirks up slightly and she takes a few moments to look over his face, like she's actually weighing the pros and cons, before a smile spreads across her features. ] Are you sure? I don't want you waking up tomorrow thinking I dragged you over there against your will...

[mccallmemaybe]

Like I'd ever wake up thinking that. [ Scott leans forward to nudge their noses together. ] You never make me do anything against my will...

[gymnast]

[ Grinning, Allison runs her hands from his shoulders down to his elbows. ] In that case-- [ Keeping hold of his arm, she pulls away from Scott to lead him into one of the darker, emptier corners of the building. ]
