open. i'm not meant to live alone
Who: The TARDIS DW Cast (which now includes Alice) and you!
What: It's a housewarming party! And moving day. Come bug them.
When: 316 - 319
Where: Thor District
Rating: PG most likely. Will update if necessary.
Day 319
Perfect. The front doors to their new home in Thor would be easily recognized by anyone who ever knew the Doctor. It wasn't an ordinary front door - oh no. There were two doors, painted blue with small windows at the top. Even the porch light overhead had been changed to look like the light on top of the TARDIS' blue boxy self. Her St. John Ambulance sticker was back too, on the door without the white sign that included instructions. Perhaps it was strange to have a sign that read Police Public Call Box over a door to a building but it felt like home that way. Surely the others would agree.
Unfortunately the only thing she couldn't do was make it bigger on the inside. The technology just didn't work here. Oh well.
She stepped forward and pulled the doors open as they were meant to be. Welcome home, everyone. And welcome to everyone who wishes to visit because the doors are left open. Feel free to just wander on in. There's bound to be someone about to harass. Also, a plethora of kittens thanks to Six's curse.

Well Marigold, I do wonder who all else shall be living with us. I hope they don't mind fire breathing dragons. [Alice smiled.] Not that I think anyone could ever mind you.
[Alice took a step forward, only one of her boxes started wobbling.]
no subject
Of course they won't mind.

We've got all four Doctors - temporarily, at least. I couldn't just leave them to sulk by themselves. Then there's Roman nurse, the Archaeologist wife and the kilt-wearing Scot. And of course, you and I.
no subject
... What might the names they call themselves be, Miss Tardis? [Alice wasn't about to argue on "proper names" for people. If the Tardis gives you a nickname, you should feel honored, not inform her that's wrong. Still, such an answer didn't lend itself to much of an idea on who all was in the house now.]
Oh! But that does sound interesting, a Roman, an Archaeologist, and Scotsman! You know, I've not ever met someone from Scotland, even if it is just north of England.

Huh.
That sure was a bright blue. ]
no subject
Oh it's you. [:|]
Have you come to pay us a visit or was there something else that caught your attention?
no subject
Look at that - it's me.
[ He sounds amused, though, and gestures at the door. ]
Nice color. Paint that yourself, did you?
no subject
Do you come out often?
[Just so she knows. :| The TARDIS doesn't look over her shoulder at the door she knows is very blue.]
I did. Not as homage to you, however.
no subject
Of course it's not in homage to me. You're not one of my followers; you're not even of this world. [ He's not even looking at her -- simply the door. ] But I do like it.

He recognizes him, of course--as a god, anyway. The actual name is escaping him a bit; it'll probably come back to him soon, though. But it's enough to make him stop and raise an eyebrow.]
Yes? Were you wanting something?
[He has just enough sense to keep his tone light and conversational, not demanding or brusque.]
no subject
Kittens.
What an excellent curse. :')
Thor simply inclines his head toward the door, popping his jaw thoughtfully as he does. ]
Your door is blue. Are you aware?
no subject
He suppresses a snippy remark with some difficulty, before nodding in return.]
Yes, we were aware, thank you. I believe my ship may have painted it that way; she does enjoy her little peculiarities.
[He doesn't know how much these beings know about the people they pull here, but he finds he's reluctant to explain just what a blue door means to the residents of this particular building.]
no subject
[ He regards the door in silence for a moment, expression neutral, seeming to look straight past the Doctor. There is, somehow, a mug of something amber in his hand that there wasn't before, but Thor hardly seems alarmed by its sudden appearance as he sips from it. ]
Nice. Good color. Have to say I miss seeing things that bright around the district.

Look, I need to get in there, so would ye mind...oh. Hello.
[There's no heat in his tone, just some surprise at seeing his patron God on his doorstep - and when he speaks again, it's in a fairly amicable sort of way.]
I'd not realized ye were planning on stopping by. Something I can help ye with, then?
no subject
[ Thor what are you doing. ]
no subject
Alright, why not. Mind the pipes, though.
[The bagpipes aren't sticking out enough that they'll get snagged on anything, but better to be safe than sorry. In the meantime, Jamie pulls open the door leading inside the house.]
Here, come on in. Ye can leave it downstairs if ye like and I'll sort it out later.
no subject
Nice place. Glad to see you sticking around the district, eh.

Haha everyone's just piling on you I'm sorry
...
Okay, no, he's not really. But it seemed like a good idea at the time! Bit of extra weight lifting??
So he's walking. Knows where the house is. Doesn't know that Thor happens to be standing in front of the doors.
So, naturally, he walks straight into him. ]
never be sorry BRING IT ON
He could've said something about it, could've called out to alert him, but no, he's mostly just amused to see if he's really going to --
Oof. Ha. Silly travelers.
Thor flings a hand out to steady the boxers. ]
Good thing I'm not in spiked armor today.
FINE THEN
[ Give him a moment; he needs to walk sideways-- Actually no, that's not right. He needs to turn a bit, and carefully shift the boxes some, until he can see Thor.
A pause. ]
Are you out and about often?
no subject
[ It's said lightly, and Thor tilts his head slightly, flashing his eyebrows at the Doctor again. O.. kay, so he's not great with offering help, but this is sort of awkward. :| ]
Do you need help carrying those?
[ .. he is, at least, good at carrying things. ]

Well, the only project is really just the fact that there are a lot of cages to carry from one house to another.
Feel free to intercept him anywhere. ]

[So because of that, she's helping with the things from Eleven's flat. The more people helping, the faster it will get done and they can be done with this process of moving. So she can be found coming in and out with other people's belongings.]
