open. i'm not meant to live alone
Who: The TARDIS DW Cast (which now includes Alice) and you!
What: It's a housewarming party! And moving day. Come bug them.
When: 316 - 319
Where: Thor District
Rating: PG most likely. Will update if necessary.
Day 319
Perfect. The front doors to their new home in Thor would be easily recognized by anyone who ever knew the Doctor. It wasn't an ordinary front door - oh no. There were two doors, painted blue with small windows at the top. Even the porch light overhead had been changed to look like the light on top of the TARDIS' blue boxy self. Her St. John Ambulance sticker was back too, on the door without the white sign that included instructions. Perhaps it was strange to have a sign that read Police Public Call Box over a door to a building but it felt like home that way. Surely the others would agree.
Unfortunately the only thing she couldn't do was make it bigger on the inside. The technology just didn't work here. Oh well.
She stepped forward and pulled the doors open as they were meant to be. Welcome home, everyone. And welcome to everyone who wishes to visit because the doors are left open. Feel free to just wander on in. There's bound to be someone about to harass. Also, a plethora of kittens thanks to Six's curse.

Well Marigold, I do wonder who all else shall be living with us. I hope they don't mind fire breathing dragons. [Alice smiled.] Not that I think anyone could ever mind you.
[Alice took a step forward, only one of her boxes started wobbling.]
no subject
Of course they won't mind.

We've got all four Doctors - temporarily, at least. I couldn't just leave them to sulk by themselves. Then there's Roman nurse, the Archaeologist wife and the kilt-wearing Scot. And of course, you and I.
no subject
... What might the names they call themselves be, Miss Tardis? [Alice wasn't about to argue on "proper names" for people. If the Tardis gives you a nickname, you should feel honored, not inform her that's wrong. Still, such an answer didn't lend itself to much of an idea on who all was in the house now.]
Oh! But that does sound interesting, a Roman, an Archaeologist, and Scotsman! You know, I've not ever met someone from Scotland, even if it is just north of England.
no subject
Ah, that would be Rory, River and Jamie. [In that order. It really was just her thing, everyone got nicknames.]
The Doctor only picks the best to travel and hang around with him. [Yes, she is aware that he's picked Alice as well.] You will now. He's quite lovely.
no subject
Oh Miss Tardis! Did the ah- eighth Doctor tell you? I've thought up nicknames for the Doctors so they don't have to be called numbers!
no subject
Did you? Well, I don't tend to call them by numbers but tell me what you've come up with.
no subject
Well! My Doctor, the eleventh Doctor shall be Doctor Hatter as he is the most fond of hats! Then the eighth Doctor shall be Dashing Doctor because he's very handsome... well, they're all handsome, but Dashing Doctor is juuust a little more so! Oh but ah... don't tell the others, I don't think they'd much like me saying that. Then there's the sixth Doctor! He shall be Patchwork Doctor... or maybe Doctor Kitty, what with the most recent development! [She giggled.]
I've not thought of a name for the ninth Doctor as I've not spoken with him enough, so it wouldn't be fair to do it yet... and he's not agreed to it... or well, neither has the sixth Doctor but I will mention it to him as soon as I can!
[Marigold set down her bag and flew over to a rafter, starting to preen his wings.]

[The TARDIS listens quietly as she goes on with her explanation and does a good job of not flinching when she brings up the Ninth Doctor.]
Sounds lovely, dear. It's nice of you to think of other names to call them instead of just numbers.
[She stroked the girl's hair.] Now, why don't we go pick out which room you'll have?
no subject
Oh yes! It just didn't seem right to call them by numbers. I wouldn't want to be called 2 just because there is another Alice in Asgard.
Do you think we could paint my room purple? A pretty lilac perhaps! [She smiles as she takes the TARDIS' hand.] Can my room be next to yours?
no subject
They don't seem to mind the numbers but perhaps they will like your names for them better. [The numbers were just the order they came it. People still called him the Doctor.]
We certainly can. [Ah. Delicate subject to talk about with the girl. She leads Alice further into the house.] I won't have a room. Most of my nights are spent with the Doctors.
no subject
[When the TARDIS mentioned that she wouldn't have a room, Alice paused and her face became as red as Marigold's fur.]
Ah but... You... aren't married....
no subject
[That was...what she thought would happen.]
No, we aren't. Before I became a human I didn't sleep at all. Sleeping alone is difficult for me. [It's more of a comfort thing than anything romantic.]
no subject
It... but... [Congratulations, TARDIS, you have rendered Alice silent.]
no subject
Let's speak nothing else on this matter. We've got a room to find.
no subject
Could my room look over the garden? Is there a garden? Can there be a garden?
no subject
It can. And we do have something of a garden. It needs a little color added.

[Speaking of busy...]
Have you got a teacher here?
no subject
I... had one. Miss Hermione but, she... [Alice's smile fell and she pulled at her fingers.]
She was returned home... so no, Miss Tardis, no teacher.
no subject
We'll find you one and perhaps she'll return.
