I'm from Earth. Which isn't a constant around here, apparently. But I works as a medical officer on a starship.

A world called Messaline, but I know Earth exists in my universe. I've just never been there. I know a couple people from there though, and my dad seems to spend time there.

On Messa, I was a soldier, or meant to be one anyway.

You might get the chance to be, here. We're in the middle of a war, though it's a bit unorthodox.

( he almost smiles, at that. war is a pretty foreign concept to him, and he finds the idea of professional soldiers somewhat distasteful, even if he won't say as much. )

That'd be where the unorthodox part comes in. Apparently, just by being here and talking to each other, we're helping.

But interacting and talking with people isn't exactly something I dislike doing. Much better then fighting and killing. I don't want to do that.

The color thing is... damn strange, to be honest. I haven't figured it out. But if you keep an eye out, you'll see the grayer natives. They're unsettling.

I think I've spotted a few already. It's quite strange, but if it's just interacting then I'm okay with that I suppose. Unless there's more their hiding and not telling us?

Honestly, I just don't want to have to fight or hurt anyone. I've already made the choice that I want to avoid that if I can.

If only, right? But things happen. I haven't experienced too many of them, so far, but I've heard tell about them. Emergencies and attacks. Guess that's why we've got the powers, in the first place.
