OPEN; THE NEIGHBORS CLUB WELCOMING PARTY

[mishaps]

Who: Anyone interested in attending the party announced a few days ago. Hosts of the party include Kodaka (mishaps), Sena (meatshields), & Yozora (playerkills). This also includes those who signed up for the speed friend making activity and other club members! Anyone who is even slightly interested in the club may post in the log (but please, only those who signed up for speed friending event participate in it!)
What: The Neighbors Club is having a welcoming party/practice party! Hooray for activities and welcoming back Kodaka to the club. Please ignore my fail of typing the event as speed dating as it is speed "friending" my bad!
When: A few days after it the initial party announcement post.
Where: The Neighbors Club Room located in Sigyn.
Rating: PG-13 AFAIK!


[Kodaka had left most of the event planning to Yozora and Sena as it was actually something that kept them busy. Kodaka knows when those two are idle and bored, bad things happen and they just end up fighting. He's actually surprised how much Yozora has taken this party thing seriously... and he's still shocked that it's technically meant for him. He's had birthdays with family members and school members, sure, but nothing like this; he's never had friends throw a party for him. He assumes Yozora throws the party for practice mostly, though.

He places a tray of onigiri (with various stuffings such as salmon, chicken, and picked vegetables.) down on a table next to a bowl of punch. There are cups and plates also on the table. He hasn't made this much food since he was back at home, and he actually doesn't mind. It's something for him to do, and without school and Kobato around, it feels like chunk of his life is missing.

He looks at his bracelet and realizes people should start coming in soon.]

Isn't it you who's lacking in free time? How many girlfriends do you have by now? [ That is a rhetorical question because she knows. ]

I don't think Miss Tenjou would appreciate you standing them up.

Hah? How many do you have? You're seriously like Touga.

You're the most beautiful girl in this room, with the most entrancing dreams. It's not hard to answer.

But rest assured, Masako isn't my girlfriend. We have a... different sort of relationship. [ looking down on masako why ]

[lovehunter]

That's right. He's promised to spend eternity with me.

He currently has one girlfriend here, already, I believe.

Eternity, huh? [Man, where has she heard that before...]

Ehhhh?! You do!? Just who are they? [She does know a couple of girls, so if Kanba is dating one of them...]

[giver]

[ glowering at masako ] I am not spending an eternity with her. Don't worry about that much.

She seems to be a bit confused about some things, especially about what people do or don't remember. It's a bit worrying.

[lovehunter]

I must wonder who Miss Tenjou believes is the more trustworthy one when you keep avoiding all of her questions. How impolite.

Heeeh... If you do have a girlfriend, I'll figure out who they are eventually. You're gonna be in deep trouble if they happen to be a close friend of mine.

[giver]

Even if they're happy? [ a lighter tone ]

[lovehunter]

Kanba is certainly one to bring much happiness to young girls, and then rip it away as quick as it was given. You could say it's a hobby of his.

You shouldn't be playing with girls' hearts! There's saying out there called "Divine Punishment", you know!

[ a quiet shift to a darker, grimmer face ] It would be a punishment, but it wouldn't be divine. I accept my punishments, but don't cloak it in words like divinity. There is no such thing.

[giver]

I'm not playing with her heart. Even Masako can confirm that she's my only girlfriend, and she is lovely. You might know her.

[lovehunter]

[ She frowns at him for a moment before putting on her usual air. ]

I'm sure she's very happy at the moment. Miss Tenjou should include a lesson on the lies of sweet talk, however.

[SIGH.] I WOULD know if I gotten a name.

... Sometimes, you have to tell a girl what she needs to hear. It doesn't have to be all about what they wanna hear.

[giver]

I think you need to hear how beautiful you are, especially the way your eyes look in the light.

And her name is Ririchiyo Shirakiin. [ a somewhat reproachful glance at masako as in why do you already know what i did last summer ]

I hope Miss Tenjou isn't familiar with her, or you'll be in my thoughts.

Yeah, yeah. That's nice of you to say.

Thaaat's... [Hmm...] That's actually someone I'm not familiar with.

She's a little lonely, so she'll likely be around. You should meet her. She's not very good at making friends. [ it might seem affectionate, but some of those were for masako's sake

as in, don't bother her or more accurately, don't bother in his love life ]

[lovehunter]

I'm sure Miss Tenjou and I can meet her together. Or perhaps I'll find her alone and we can talk about you. [ She makes that a more obvious threat because hahaha sure Kanba sure.

She looks over to Utena. ] If you find her first, you'll most certainly have some warnings for her, won't you?

[utenamobile]

[She'll pause at Kanba's line before listening in to Masako and gives a nod.]

Yup! I'll have plenty of warnings and possibly tips for her to deal with him. [A beat.] Just don't go and make her cry, Kanba.

[And another with a dangerous edge to her words.] I'll definitely be the first to kick your ass.

[giver]

I won't be the one who makes her cry. [ his eyes turn towards masako again, another warning. he holds his gaze on her for a moment before breaking into a relaxed smile back at utena ]

I'm sure you two will have much to commiserate upon. She'll be happy to have a new friend.

[lovehunter]

You should take her warnings seriously, Kanba. I can't protect you from the wrath of angered women forever. [ Since she is the one who sics them on him. ]

I doubt you would be surprised at how often ex-girlfriends come after him. [ Because Masako tells them to. ]

.... Alright. As long as you keep that promise, then we're good.

[There's an eyebrow raise at that comment.] I can't say that I would. But you two are believers of 'true love', right?

[giver]

I believe in love. [ a careful tone ]
