Who: Castor Wallace & YOU
What: A seemingly peaceful day at the park
When: Late afternoon

If there was one thing Castor Wallace missed back home in Arcadia, it was the peaceful wood that surrounded the kingdom. While monsters did make appearances, the city relied on the guard to take care of them, which made exploring the closer parts of it easier to relax in. The knight would often escape from the city to catch a bit of fresh hair & enjoy the sun's gentle rays.

When he heard of Gefion Park from Euri, he was beyond elated there was such a place in the city. His first time visiting turned out to be quite eventful - it was then he made a new friend, miss Piper & several other people. As far as this knight knew, he could associate this park with happy memories.

So today he took time out of his schedule of offering help to the citizens of Asgard to find a nice, plush spot on that healthy green grass to lay you & welcome the sunshine. Of course he had to bring Piper with him & as he went to lay down he set her on his chest where she then lay atop of him.

Peaceful so far, right? Who knows how long that'll last.

[Diva had been drawn to the park as well on such a nice day, but out of something of a fit of nostalgia. She had dreamed of Greek beaches, a brief stop on her travels to some other destination that her Chevalier had picked for her. But in a rare moment of allowing her some freedom, she had been allowed to lounge and play at the beach. She had forgotten about how beautiful the water was until that dream, so she was determined on her day off from work to try and recreate that feeling. It wasn't quite a Grecian beach, but the lake in Gefion would do.

She's already enjoyed her time swimming and lounging by the lake when she's on her way back, with her rather modest swimsuit and her towel tucked around her waist, but seeing a familiar person (and rabbit!) lounging in the grass... Well, of course she'll stop to say hello.]

Hey, I feel like you might like it here in the park, Castor.

[And when he looks up, she'll even give a little wave.]

[that elegant sounding voice picks him up right as the knight was drifting off. that sun sure is coaxing]

Lady Diva? [he props up against his elbows, causing the little bunny on his chest to slide down some] I suppose I'm just drawn to this place. Are you going swimming?

[Her eyes fall on the rabbit as it slides down, and she smiles a bit more widely, since wow, that's cute...]

I just went, actually. [She meets his eyes again, running her fingers through one of her pigtails (since that's a better style for swimming, of course). They're pretty dry, though, since she had laid on the banks much like he was lounging now to dry off] It's not quite the ocean, but it was still pretty nice! The only thing was that the bottom of the it felt weird, because it's so... mushy? I guess that would be the best word for it. It just feels strange. But the water was really nice!

Yes, I believe the floor beneath the lake is a lot different than the sea.. less firm, so I've heard. [he tilts his head a bit for a moment, thinking]

It has been quite a while since I've been swimming. Not since I was a bow.

[Her eyebrows raise with interest before she motions gracefully back the way she had come]

You could go now, right? I left because I got bored of swimming alone, but with someone else, it'd be more fun! Or... You could just go now and I'll watch her [She nods towards the rabbit] is she's not well-behaved enough to stay put.

[upon hearing her suggestion, he looks down at himself. while he's not wearing the armor itself he wonders if he should get the only pair of clothes he has wet]

It is not a bad idea, but... I am not very well prepared for a swim. [though he is still considering it because it's a tempting idea]

[She looks at his clothes, then shrugs] Well, you're wearing underwear, aren't you? Or even just go naked, it doesn't matter.

Ah -- yes, I suppose that will do. [going in his underwear that is, not naked dear god no. now if he could only push himself to undress in front of a lady

or possibly just be in his shorts around one.]

[She laughs a little, smiling brightly]

Good! Hey, and if it makes you feel better, I'd take mine off too. [She laughs more and gives a little wink, making it unclear whether she's joking or not...] Hey, but it'll be fun. And even just for a little bit, I'll go swimming with you too. It'd be perfect, because I went swimming after remembering something old anyways.

[oh... oh no, diva don't tell him that because he'll have a heart attack] Y-You do not have to do something like that! W-What you have on now is.. f-fine.

[he shifts a bit in his seat, gaze now darting away as his cheeks flare up a bit] It would be fun to swim with someone, though. I you do not mind going back in again, that is.

[And that just makes Diva giggle, narrowing her eyes slightly. She knew she had a good eye for her "type," but it was still always nice to have it confirmed. She walks a bit close, smiling brightly as she nods again.]

Not at all. It'll be fun, right?

[he's not very good at hiding the fact that he's embarrassed but he tries to at least keep poised since... as a knight, he has to have some sort of tact.

though it's a little hard when a woman like diva likes to tease. he coughs & nods, smiling finally]

Y-Yes, I believe it will be. Ah... perhaps it would be best if I met you in the water? [because he's going to die if he has undress in front of her oh god]

That's fine with me.

[She turns to walk back toward the lake, but turns on her heel so that she can walk backwards and still talk to him]

You can take off your clothes for me some other time.

[Diva just laughs, trotting away back to the lake quickly. SORRY CASTOR...]

I-- ... a-ah..? [GREAT WELL NOW HE'S FEELING STRANGE]

[he shakes his head & heads for some bushes. HE PROBABLY HEARD WRONG yeah that's it. he strips down to his undies & neatly folds them in a pile right before the water. before heading in he keeps note of where piper is - hopping about happily though now that she knows where his clothes are, she hops on over to nestle in them]

Good grief... I am going to get hair all over my uniform.. [at least she's not wandering off anyway. content where his baby is he heads over to the water to meet diva]

[And Diva is already well into the water, floating as she looks up at the sky. It takes her a few moments longer than it might usually to hear him approach, since she was briefly lost in thought, but she stops floating to give a wave. And to check him out...]

It's a little cold at first! But you get used to it fast.

[unfortunately there's not all that much to check out. he has a swimmer's build with a little bit a muscle - nothing too impressive though, compared to his fellow knights. he doesn't seem to realize she's looking at him & he just waves to her shyly while approaching the shore.

as soon as he made it into the water, he realized what she meant when she said it was cold] Y-You weren't kidding.. [if he goes in deeper maybe it'll get warmer!!]

[She does note to herself that it's rather disappointing, but also not exactly off-putting. Diva laughs as he walks in, swimming closer to reach her hands up to lead him (or, more likely, pull him) in]

Right? But it warms up pretty quickly! Though I think I'm better at taking cold than most people, too...

I-Is that so? Did you used to live in a cold place? [once the water surface reaches his around his arms he stands to let his body adapt to the temperature before getting comfortable]

For a little while!

[She grabs his hands, and starts to stand, but no, not being in the water feels pretty cold, so she just kind of stays mostly submerged in the water. This is probably an awkward position for her to be in terms of where her head probably is, heightwise, but she doesn't really notice...]

I lived in Russia for a few years. It's only warm for like two months or something! The rest of the year, it's freezing.

[it's alright because castor is rather dense & he doesn't seem to realize where her head is. he just chuckles as she takes his hands & relaxes in the water]

Goodness, that is quite a place to live. Did it snow a lot because of the cold?

A lot! I hated the snow for a long time, but when I lived in Russia, I think I got used to it. Or something like that.

[She looks up toward him] What is it like where you're from?

Very busy. [he smiles fondly, eyes closing as he reminisces]

It was a big city, always full of people. Though it didn't go without any problems. My job as a knight was to help with them.

[She watches his face curiously, then squeezes his hands a little]

Then I bet they were happy. I may not know you very well, but I think just from what I know so far, I would definitely feel safe if you were the one helping. [It was hard to not add "me" onto that sentence. Diva lets go of his hands to swim back a bit, but her eyes remain on his to watch his expression]

I had several knights of my own, so it's kind of funny to meet another one. Well, even though you're definitely not the same kind, it still makes me feel a little nostalgic.

[when her hands leave his, he uses one to scratch at his flushed cheek sheepishly. it is easy to flatter the knight it seems but he is also not use to people actually being grateful for his help - at least back home anyway]

D-Did you? Were you a noble or an important person back home?
