Who: derek hale & you! recipe for horror amirite
What: come bother derek at his job bc his life needs to be more miserable
When: over the past week or so.
Where: allison's pet store in the freya district
Rating: derek's murder face B|
[ derek can't believe he was talked into this. how scott mccall had managed to convince him of working in a pet store (named allison's pet store no less) is beyond him but here he is, all dark scowls and murderous looks as always. the only way to recognize him as an employee is the silly little name tag on his shirt-- but really, it's a lot better than what he could be wearing had scott gotten his way even more. still, just a simple name tag makes for a foul mood, and makes for even more amazing customer service as anyone who ventures in and falls into his side of the store might come to learn.
but no fear, he won't bite -- literally, for once -- so if you're looking to buy a cute, new bunny it's alright to ask him. after all, if you don't, he might end up eating it. never know with werewolves. ]

raven makes a show of looking around the pet store, stopping to look at one thing or another, trying to ignore the look she's getting from derek. it's harder to act like it doesn't make her at least a little uncomfortable when he's right there. but she thinks she manages well enough.

Are the animals here any different than anywhere else? Longer or shorter life expectancy, maybe?

Because you're supposed to know these things. A salesman is supposed to know about his product so that he can answer any questions that a potential buyer might have. I'm not going to pay money for something that's just going to die in two weeks.

To keep an eye on things. [ double wow because that sure is the truth, actually. he hates the job, hates the people he works with and for-- but despite all that, working at allison's pet store means keeping an eye on everyone from beacon hills in one way or another. means keeping them out of trouble and knowing if something comes up that he should know about.
that, and it gives him something to do since...you know, can't exactly turn anymore teenagers into werewolves without his werewolf side active. ]
