She was quiet for a long moment as she digested that. She didn't know what to do about that -- because if she were honest, it hurt, that she was this ticking timebomb of disappointment waiting to happen. Her throat tightened, preventing speech for a few seconds, before she pressed her fingers against his temples, shaking her head slightly.
