The stallion gingerly plucked a piece of carrot from Emboar's 'hand', immediately scurrying off to eat the morsel elsewhere. It would take the horses, mystical as they were, time to get used to such a creature.
Satisfied that one of the horses had actually taken a carrot piece from Emboar, he walked back over to the girls, brushing off his hands.
"How d'ya like 'em? They're perty tame once y' git t' know 'em." Seeing that the pushy horse was still nudging at them and stealing carrot pieces without them being offered, he came over grabbing the horse by the bridle to hold his head in place.
"Don' feed 'im 'til yer ready, he's bein' a bully." He said this to Bianca, but he cast a sidelong look at the horse, along with using a scolding tone when talking of the horse. As if understanding, the beast's ears drooped and he scraped a hoof shyly on the ground, as if he felt bad.
