Hinata, as graceful as always, tried to make a smooth recovery. He hopped up to his feet, still pulling the occasional thorn out of his clothing.
"Yep!" He seems... awfully cheerful about the whole darkness thing. "I died twice!" Why he wears that fact as a badge of honor is anyone's guess. At least he doesn't seem emotionally damaged by the event like so many others.
He's utterly jaded by dying and seeing death. The afterlife changed him more than he'd ever admit.
"It was kind of like a video game..!" Says the boy who spent too much time hiding under his blankets after playing the Fatal Frame series. "I didn't get any cool weapons though, that would have been great!"
Everything... was a game to him. Whether it be an actual game like baseball or Mario Kart, or even just his day to day life in Asgard. He was the protagonist, the grey-people were NPCs, and Asgard was Level 2.
Perhaps he wouldn't ever be able to take this seriously.
