[ Raven isn't pleased with the Gods for the things they've done, the things they've taken away from her and her friends, or the things they seem to think all of the travelers are here for - but she also doesn't like sitting idly by while things happen and other people trapped here, not unlike herself, go forth and take risks and make a difference. She doesn't ask for Erik's approval before she leaves; rather, she slips out in the early hours of the morning to try to make as quiet an exit as possible, to avoid making waves. It's better to ask him to forgive her for it later than it is to try talking him into letting her go to begin with.
