You could probably get a dog or something? I mean, I really doubt it'd be the same but they're pretty similar animals. The smell might be close enough, and all.

It sounds like it had to be pretty interesting, though. I mean, stuff like that doesn't really happen where I'm from, we usually just... well, give the kids to other people or let whoever else is around do the work, in that kind of situation. There are stories but I think a lot of them are fake, honestly-- or people running into werewolf packs and mistaking what's going on.
