He heard her when she came through, after a few days he could tell the difference between her steps and Allison's. It was from his time in the woods and the rebellion, his awareness was higher than the average person.

He did not mind filling in while they took care of things. No one but Johanna seemed to show up from Panem and she would spend her time with Katniss and Finnick, not Gale. It left him with a bit more free time than normal, which meant it was nice to have the bar to fill it with.

When she spoke he looked up, the edge of his mouths turning into a grin, a faint hint of it actually sparking into his eyes. A rare sight indeed as he sat the trap down,giving her his attention for the moment.

"Yup, I'm a big slacker, haven't you noticed." His grin quirked a little more till her question, then he shook his head and looked back at his device.

"I'd rather not, too many people for my tastes." Too much of a memory about the last time he had been at a festival in Asgard...damn flowers.
