[Sam is just sitting around and reading. And possibly testing out these cool massaging chairs they got from the last prize the gods decided to give them. They're fucking awesome, okay.

But he may... or may not... have fallen asleep.

[ He's going through a journal, occasionally looking up to see what's going on. Codex updating time. . . Hawke's got a lot to remember, okay. That's why this journal thing is stuffed full and looking like it's seen better days. The man himself looks fine, all things considered. Time to write about the dragon. ]

[Indeed, it looks as if Sam's fallen asleep. Pausing on the way to his own chair--not massage, thank you very much--Charles takes a moment to look him over, noting one of the books in danger of falling to the floor. With an air of amusement, he tugs said book out of Sam's hands with the intention of placing it on the nearby table.]

Corridors mostly!

[Hisahide can be found strolling through the various corridors in Odin House, examining everything with a keen eye. Be it the architecture of the place or some ornamental knickknack, he seems to be absorbed in what he does. You are of course free to ask what he's doing or what he finds interesting about the wallpaper but be prepared to get some longwinded and possibly tl;dr answer.]

[Sam wakes up about twenty minutes after this to pull off the post-it notes instinctively. At first, he's pretty sure he's hallucianting -- Lucifer is a dick, after all -- but then he reads them.

... Terezi.

Half an hour later, when Terezi returns to her room, she will find a note tacked to her bedroom door, reading:]

[Sam jolts awake at the feeling of the book coming out of his hands -- Sam is a notoriously light sleeper, unfortunately. But he blinks quickly and once he realizes that he's not hallucinating or anything else particularly nasty, he relaxes abruptly to look at the person in question.]

[Sam is just coming through with a cup of tea when he notices the avid journal writing. He normally doesn't interrupt when people in Odin are super serious focused, because that tends to result in spontaneous explosions, but -- ]

Hey -- what's up?

[Yuri is sitting quietly at the kitchen table, drinking a cup of tea while reading a book. This is far from unusual behavior on his part.

Although it's less usual to find him in the public area of the Odin House at all, as he's normally so busy with his work elsewhere. He does linger there now and then, if only to establish his presence here and for appearances' sake.]

[ she's difficult to notice. then again, she's quite new after all, fresh from the castle -- and the library.

nevertheless, the tiny girl -- though seriously, doesn't she look more like a doll in that frilly black dress? -- is seated in one corner of the common room, away from prying eyes and surrounded by stacks and stacks of books (most of them, still unread and the shelves close to her are pretty much empty). she's even holding one right now, completely immersed in reading. ]

[ At some point or other throughout the day, you may find Luna walking a little wistfully down the corridors, or maybe you'll just find a sign taped to your door. It's written carefully and a little whimsically, but it's made to be informative! ]

Dabberblimps have been spotted frolicking in the pipes of the kitchen sink and out of the drains of the bath. It is best if you make sure to lock your toothbrush and nail clippers away for the night. Sprinkling pepper and pickle juice around the openings can spook them for a while.

[Rose is being an exceptionally good girl today. Just sitting in one of den chairs, a book (though maybe the better name for it is tome) in her hands and a notepad in her lap. Just being a sweet little blonde girl reading quietly in the corner.

At least until every so often she takes it upon herself to rip a page from the notebook and light it up from the flames in her hands. She takes care to blow it out after it's nearly nothing more than ashes at least.

It's just practice. Really.

They're very, very loud.

Basically, it sounds like someone shouting at the top of their (quite powerful) lungs, though varying in pitch and length.

[Iceland has long-since learned that the best place to look for books that have been taken from the library is in his house. Therefore, he's examining the piles of books.]

Hey, are you going to read this soon?

[He's pointing to one of the books in the middle of a stack.]

[ THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Dragonknapping is a serious offense and this legislacerator does not think that His Honorable Tyranny will show leniency, even for the clever retaliation scheme.

Of course she will not be found consorting with criminals! But an esteemed member of her expert team has been taken. Terezi has to work within the confines of the law to retrieve her colleague. This is a dangerous line to walk.

SO THERE SHE IS! Alone (as far as Sam is concerned) with a mysterious pouch in her hand... ]

[Lion is just sitting in one of the den chairs, reading a book. But at one point he looks up and turns towards the window, slowly tracing his fingertips over the glass. Eventually, some frost forms there.

Just testing out his newfound ability like he tends to do every so often.]

[Perk of working at the library: access to the book carts. Iceland has carted two back to the house, actually, and is currently sprawled on the empty bottom shelves of both of them, reading. The only reason those shelves are empty is he's stacked up the books that were on them around him.

His feet are visible, hanging off the end, but he's mostly keeping quiet for now, so it mostly looks like there are two abandoned book carts with piles of books around them.]

[ Don't mind her. Or the plush snout that peers over the edge of the chair to catch a glimpse of what it is you're writing. ]

[ dalian's not even going to look at him -- or acknowledge this complete stranger in any way. she does note the book that he's pointing at but as if she'd hand it over to him (despite not having read it yet), being the self-centered little girl that she is.

[Iceland raises an eyebrow and, because he is also rather self-centered and she's not even reading that, will grab the first book on the stack nearest to him.]

She is so unmindful that she may accidentally blow her next handful of ashes right at that adorable plush snout.
