There's obviously a reason why Naruto's suddenly lost part of his drive to fight, but Sasuke isn't going to acknowledge it. It's an opening as far as he concerned- one he uses to grip tightly at the blond's shoulders as a knee is driven into his stomach, after which he lets go, taking a quick step backwards as this time a foot flies out, fully intent on kicking Naruto in the chest with full force.
