Who: Ninian and Shinji Ikari
What: Someone hasn't had the chance to really see the snow. And someone else has missed it.
When: Right before the Winter Holidays? (Around Day 371-373)
Where: In the streets, not too far from the Tea Room.
Rating: PG at most
While not completely overwhelmed, Ninian had serious difficulties with the recent heatwave. Much to her displeasure she had to take more breaks at work and cut some of her dancing practice, as she was unused to a heat that could very easily rival the feared Nabata Desert at its worst!
So, once the heat was replaced by cold and the snow started falling, it was a huge relief for her. It brought her all kinds of memories of Ilia, specially those of the days before the Scourging took place and the dragons were forced out of the land. Days spent with her parents and Nils in peace, like any normal little girl unaware of the darker times that would follow.
Now it's closing time, and today's work is done! She's now wearing just a white mantle over her clothes, despite how icy her surroundings are; she doesn't currently need more, since her resistence to the cold is rather high.
"So now it's time...," she murmurs, looking through the window. And it seems it's gonna start snowing again...
