It's time to kick off your shoes, learn how to choose sadness
Who: Jack and Ianto (and possibly a healer?)
What: After this run-in with the Ninth Doctor, Ianto decides to take matters in his own hands.
When: Directly after the above mentioned log is complete, Day 470
Where: Odin 109 to start
Rating: PG-13 although will change if needed
Ianto shut the door behind the Doctor after they had all bid their respective farewells, breathing a silent sigh out before he turned to Jack, trying to keep his face neutral. He knew that Jack wasn't exactly happy with him for everything that had just transpired. The pair of them had essentially cornered Jack into having a conversation with them, and Ianto knew full-well how much the other man enjoyed those things. He knew that Jack wasn't happy. He just wasn't sure how unhappy he was. Not yet anyway. Although when he turned and took the other man's face in he looked exhausted, which was hardly the expression Ianto had anticipated, given the evening they'd had. To top it all off, there was a note of pain underneath it all. His hand had to be still bothering him, underneath it all.
Damn Jack, but Ianto wasn't quite sure how to deal with this moment or how he was going to react whichever way he went. He wasn't even sure if Jack was upset with him or just upset in general and taking it out on him, or. Not even that upset at all and just... Who could even say at this point. He turned to the other man, hazarding him a glance. "Jack..." What to do? What to say, in a situation like this one, when he knew he'd overstepped his boundaries but also knew that he'd done the right thing, for good reason?
