"Well, that's what I'm assuming. They pretty much set this little shindig up," she said, motioning towards the obstacle course. "It'd make sense that at least one of them's keeping tabs on what everyone is able to do after all. But who knows? Maybe I'm wrong there."

It was sort of curious. Her own paranoia led to her demanding to know as much as she could, involve herself in a lot of things but reveal little that she actually cared about. Paranoia could lead to such different responses at times.
