Sherlock Holmes | Odin, Day 482, Dawn

Sherlock isn't a stranger to sleepless nights. Countless times he's stayed awake for twenty-four hours or more to grind away at a particularly intriguing problem. The point where things get troubling is the point where the longer he stays awake, the less sense everything makes.

When he was let loose in the city, the sun had just been going down. He's spent the night wandering the streets, looking in at the nightlife, making his way through as much of the place has he can manage. There's simply too much here, beginning with the circumstances of his being brought here at all, that remains inexplicable, and any attempts to rationalize it logically have hit an immovable wall.

The sun's coming up now, and the light is highlighting the damage recently done to the buildings and the strange discolouration of some of them. Sherlock's watching it happen from a rooftop that looks out onto the district he's been assigned, and the manor that's Odin's Welcome Hall.

Once it's light, but before too much life starts to stir in the streets, Sherlock is climbing down, intent on making his way toward the Welcome Hall at last.

((OOC: Sherlock's disoriented and more than a little paranoid at the moment, so he may flee from extended interaction depending on how things go. If that does happen, we can consider it the foundation for future developments in CR.

While I default to prose, action brackets are 100% fine if you prefer them.))
