Ril makes a face at him and shakes her head, trying to put her observations into words and then gives up to blow at her tea a little more. It's not like he doesn't have quiet days. Gods knew she did. There's a tilt of her chin a few moments later and she finally does find her voice.

"You're very quiet. Not that you're loud, but--" She waves a little. He fills a room all by himself, big and bright, just him and his presence. It was definitely the smile. "I just wanted to make sure you were well." Ril leans in almost apologetically. "Occupational hazard?"
