Perhaps it would have been smarter to have actually texted Shiage before running out to look for him, but these past few days of sitting around and doing nothing have made Chihaya antsy. She still blames herself for hurting him; she shouldn't have run away when he opened his heart to her (and, well, she DID see his last video post). And after talking to her friends, she's fairly certain that this is the right thing to do- she needs to talk to him and tell him-

Chihaya frowns. To be honest, she still isn't sure WHAT she's going to say to him. An apology would be a good start, but that's all she has so far. Every other speech that she's tried to put together came out stilted and strange. She would have taken more time to think on it, but hearing about all of these sudden stabbings is enough to make her go and seek him out, and to at least make sure that he's okay.

Chihaya stops in the middle of the street, keeping an eye out for Shiage and for any possible danger in this crowd. She can't keep running away; one way or another, Chihaya's going to have an answer to his confession.

[He couldn't save Ririchiyo. Shiage knew that she was was too stubborn to throw in the towel and Soushi would mostly likely take care of her, he still couldn't do anything. Some hero that he was. All he could do was helplessly watch.

Not to mention, other people were in trouble too. It would've been impossible for him to help them all, but if the people close to him were safe, then that would've helped him sleep at night. And after seeing Chihaya's last post, he wondered if she was singing to forget about the person named "Shiage Hamazura". She would've been better off and happier. Right? If she just cut ties with him, then she wouldn't had had to put up with him anymore.

But even so, he still had to make sure that she was safe. Even if she hated his guts and yelled at him, he still wanted to make sure that she wasn't hurt. If not him, then an actual hero would've done the job. But still... What would he say to her when he saw her again?]

... Shit. [At the moment, he popped out of an alleyway.] She's not at the theater, either! Kisaragi, where are you...?

[ Deciding to head to the Heimdall district's house, Chihaya takes a few resolute steps forward and almost jumps out of her skin when Shiage walks out almost right in front of her. ]

[ She thought that he would still be playing his games and keeping to his own district, not wandering the border of Freyr and Heimdall- and. Oh. HE was looking for HER. ]

- here! I'm... here. [ She trails off uncertainly, looking awkward. ]

[He hears that voice and suddenly loses his train of thought. She was perfectly fine, thank goodness. But what could he say after all of this time...] K-Kisaragi! You're--

[He's looking equally awkward... Man, what should he say in a time like this?]

[ Chihaya's just happy that HE'S alright, too- she couldn't bear the thought of him getting stabbed or going home with only that last conversation to remember her by- ]

[ ... and then his next comment happens. Did she really look THAT bad the last time she'd broadcasted a video feed? ]

[He forces a grin to assure her that he was a-okay. Once again, he wasn't sure what he saying... So he just winged it!]

[ Augh, she just can't meet his eyes; she's looking away, feeling awkward and kind of horrible, to be honest. Between what happened last time and his reactions- ]

Anywhere would be fine... [ Someplace where they won't be in danger of being stabbed ] - how about the theater? It's not too far, and there aren't any shows going on today...

The theater, huh? That place is like your second home or somethin'. [He'll give her a nod. Shiage already had a good idea on why she was going there. That place was more closed off and no one would be able to attack them.]

Alright. Let's head down over there.

I've never lived within walking distance of one before; I guess I'm making up for lost time.

[ She nods and starts walking; it's not too far over from where they are now, so it isn't too long before the theater building comes into sight. Before they reach the entrance, though- ]

[He'll gesture out a hand and wave it around idly with a chuckle.] Heh heh heh... I was bein' selfish, after all. I should'va thought about your feelings before puttin' you on the spot like that.

[ Oh... she's touched that he's being considerate, but still- Chihaya shakes her head. ] Even so, you didn't deserve what I did- or how I ran away like that.

C'mon now! It's not like you could'va given me an answer in an instant! [Now that he thinks about it...]

... Maybe I should'va written you a letter or something to express how I felt and that would'va given you more time to think. But I ain't the best at writing stuff. [Even so, that would've gone against his standard way of doing things.]

Heh... A man's gotta face everything head on, so I don't regret my decision at the end.

[ As they enter, the theater's quiet at this time of day, save for those few people heading for the practice rooms or just sightseeing in general- and they're mostly the colorless city denizens. Chihaya's expression grows more serious, and without looking at Shiage: ]

...??? Huh? [He scratches his cheek and looks over to her before he looks back out towards the theater. That was a dramatic change.]

[ There's a beat as Chihaya has to reorient herself. Really... she's never going to get used to that honesty. ]
