Who: Castiel (
ofthursday), Dean (
sonofabitch), Bobby (
damnidjits), and YOU.
What:Harassing Searching the moose-sized grey people for Sam.
When: Day 69
Where: Anywhere! Though the actual group of grey people are gathered near the library in Odin District
Rating: PG?
It was a lie, as expected.
The world suddenly filling with color and the option of departing for home was too good to be true, so it had been pretty much ignored by Team Free Will. It was after the original, grey natives had returned to Asgard that one of them had the bright idea of gathering all the Sam-shaped grey people in one area. This was an attempt to see if they could discern which one was their particular giant.
So one sunny afternoon, within sight of the library, a group consisting of eight grey men could be found huddled off to the side, circled by one scowling angel, and two hunters muttering obscenities under their breathes.
[ooc: You can run into any of them anywhere, so expect tags from at least one of us. Threadjacking is perfectly fine too. c:]

Conan's on his way to the library when the group gets his attention. He's not showing any signs of his week-long-sleep besides his uneven fringe, the patches where Sherlock shaved him visible either side of his forehead, and for the moment he's content to watch, size up the situation. It's only when he thinks he's got it that he clears his throat.
"Have you tried questioning them?"
no subject
"Well, look who it is. Sleepin' Beauty's finally awake. And missin' a few hairs. What, someone don't like you and took advantage of your situation?"
He glanced back at the group unhappily, the grey natives standing there passively as Cas and Dean poked and prodded them.
"Ain't got much outta them so far."
no subject
That would be something to investigate later. Instead, Conan ruefully rubbed one shaved patch. "Sherlock-sensei decided I provided an unparallelled opportunity to confirm his theory about the unnaturally long sleeps that sometimes happen to people."
He frowned at Bobby's answer, watching Cas and Dean harass the grey people. "That's worrying. Most of the grey people have history even if they don't have personality. If these guys don't even have that ... " Was there something else going on in the city?

The other two must be the other members of the team, though, and it seems like as good a chance as any to meet them, since they'll be working together. She troops down the stairs and stands a fair distance away, lifting her voice to be heard over the muttering.
"Did they do something wrong?"
no subject
"What are you doing?"
no subject
"What's going on here?"
no subject
"Looking for Sammy." Why else would they be bothering only the giant grey people?

His next reply is a little more tired and a little less jovial.
"Nah. These guys got some history, we just ain't gettin' the info we want."
no subject
Mental note: Get to a hairdresser at the first opportunity.
"What are you looking for?" Conan's pulling his notebook out.
no subject
"We're just lookin' for a friend of ours."
He hoped she got what he meant, because he was not in the mood to deal with innocent, clueless civilians.
no subject
"Oh no, Sam lost his bracelet? Is there anything I can do to help? My name's Mako Nakarai, we've spoken a few times."
no subject
"Lookin' for a friend. He's been missin' for awhile now."
no subject
"Still lookin' for Sam." Bobby eyed the natives grimly. "Figured we should investigate with the reappearance of the natives."
no subject
"Yep, got it in one. I'm Bobby Singer."
He offered his hand out to shake.
"We're tryin' to figure out if any of them can possibly be Sam, given that he's most likely gone native."
no subject
She gives him a meaningful look, not overstated but lingering just long enough to deliver its message - I'm on your guys's side.
"I don't know how much I can help, though. I'm not sure I know him well enough. If there is anything, though, just tell me and I'll do it."
no subject
"I guessed that. I meant -- what questions are you asking? Are you looking for someone with a more incomplete history and life story than the others or for someone whose memory doesn't go back beyond the time Sam disappeared?"
no subject
no subject
He wanders over to them, frowning.] What's going on?
no subject
Looking for Sam.
[Maybe Merlin could help.]

"Are you interrogating these poor people?" Time for her to step in closer, to put a staying hand on Dean's weapon hand and slow him down.
