Merlin shot Nakama a fond smile, putting a friendly hand on her shoulder briefly. "You didn't have to run all the way here, Nakama. Cas and I wouldn't have minded waiting a few minutes."

The rest of his reassurances forgotten, Merlin straightened his back in response to the change in Cas' attitude without really thinking about it. "My limits?" he repeated slowly. "I can heal deep gashes no problem, mend breaks in bones. I healed a couple Traveler's stab wounds from that Ides of March thing Sam was talking about, but those always left me really drained. I dunno about now."

There was a pause before Merlin continued, cautiously. "And, well, I could work with new scars, too. The serious ones takes a few tries to heal completely, though."
