[Kadar was always curious but Malik never thought it was necessarily a bad thing. Certainly curiosity could get one into trouble but it also left him open-minded and aware in many ways. It was a good trait more than not and he never saw the need to berate him for it unless it was an annoyance or it was disrespectful. It was simply who his brother was and there was nothing wrong with his brother when it came down to it. His rank though, that was something they needed to work on and he felt bad for seemingly leaving him to his own devices as of late but this entire issue had made him tense. It forced him aware more than in the public eye which is where he was most comfortable and quietly, it terrified him that Kadar was there. The thought of losing him again was a difficult one to consider to the point where he found himself fearful of checking in to see if he made it to work on time or was training like he should.
