[The morning after Zessica arrived, she found herself waiting on the front porch of Loki's welcome house for her scheduled company to arrive. She had spent a bit of the previous night altering her wardrobe a little. Coupled with a pair denim shorts, it would work for the moment.

Currently seated on the steps, she remembered she had no idea what Euri looked like. Hopefully she'd be easy to spot if they got separated later.]

Mm! That one with the women singer, and that one with the Numa Numa song.

[Euri's following eagerly!]

[And they'll stop in front of a display of CD players. There are a few fun choices for Euri to look at. Zessica waits patiently as she explains.]

These are the ones with speakers. They sit on a shelf or a table and fill the room with music, and can be plugged in or powered by batteries.

[Euri is examining all of them, but she's really drawn to the piano-shaped player.]

What are batteries?

[zessica]

They power things. Inside there's energy, and when put into some things the right way, they allow that thing to work.

[occulthymns]

So it's like magic~! I think I want to get that one, in any case. [She'll point at the pink piano cd player.]

[zessica]

[She peers at the price tag.] Are you okay paying that much? I'm honestly not sure how the money system here works yet, so...

[occulthymns]

Yeah! [Euri waves a hand dismissively.] I've got two jobs, so I can splurge a little.

[zessica]

Well, good. Let's get this, the CDs, then grab some lunch!

[With that, she waves an employee over to take the boxed CD player and ring them out over at the counter.]</small?

[Euri nods and after paying for the CD player and both CDs they can be on their way!]

So what do you feel like eating?

[zessica]

Hmm... What is there nearby?

[occulthymns]

There are a couple tea and coffee shops, a sandwich place, a few places that sell a lot of different kinds of noodle and rice dishes.... [Listing them off on her fingers.]

[zessica]

Does the sandwich place have soups?

[occulthymns]

Yeah! In fact, it's got a really good wild mushroom soup.~

[zessica]

Let's go there, then! [Zessica pauses, eying the bag Euri's carrying though.]

Mind if I try something?

[occulthymns]

[Euri blinks.]

Mm? Sure.

[zessica]

Take one of the CDs and set it on the ground? In the case, of course. We don't want it scratched.

[She looks at the other girl now.] The lady in the castle told me I had telekinesis, and I want to give it a try.

[occulthymns]

Oh! [That's perfectly reasonable, so Euri will take a CD out of her bag and put it on the ground, then step back.]

Your power might not be very strong to begin with, but over time you'll get more powerful.

[zessica]

Right. So, telekinesis... similar to home I guess. Do I just point at it or something?

[She does exactly that, and it wobbles into the air about three feet.]

I've found that just concentrating works. [When the CD rises up Euri will move closer to it curiously.]

Is that difficult?

[zessica]

Oh. [She drops her arm, and while the CD jerks a little, it does stay up.]

Uh, not much? But I do have to focus.

[occulthymns]

[Euri nods.]

Well, it looks like a useful power.

[zessica]

We'll see he it goes. [The CD floats over to Zessica, who takes it and hands it back to Euri.]

Anyway, let's get going. I'm pretty hungry!

[occulthymns]

[Euri nods, taking the CD back before resuming down the street.]

Okay.

[zessica]

[TIMESKIP SO SANDIWCH PLACE??]

Yep! Come on.~ [Euri is heading in, and since it's just a small place going straight to a table. The waiter will come by and give them menus and take their drink orders. Euri is getting some tea c:]
