[Look down. Now back up! Where are you? You're in the Castle Plaza, with the Gods your Gods could God like.

[Lively, pleasant music hangs in the air around you as fireworks explode in the sky above. There is a tempting aroma teasing at your nostrils. Where is it coming from? Those long tables at the center of the plaza, overflowing with food you love. Craving anything from home? You'll be sure to find it there.

[Look around you. What do you see? Carnival games. Hundreds of Carnival games, including a dunk tank, and all for free! Carnival games not your thing? Why not give the dance floor a try? That music is awfully catchy, and just look at all those stunning lights!

[Enjoy yourselves, travelers. A New Year is upon us.]

[ beer? lancer can get behind beer, man. he's currently still carting around wine from earlier, but he can pick up the sight of booze from a mile away, and the fact it's held by someone he vaguely recognizes just bolsters his mood even more. ]

This festival is a fine occasion, is it not? [ well anyplace he can get drunk and win prizes is good for him, but everything ele is pretty good too. ] The food rivals that of many feasts I have been to, and the atmosphere almost so. [ there's nothing better than a crowd of partying knights, but it comes close enough. ]

Ah, I believe it was a game designed to test your strength. [ quite literally, in fact. ] I must confess to not having understood the rules initially, but it was rather simple once the man explained things to me.

[ and he probably regrets doing so, after lancer promptly hefted the mallet and won the best prize. that's life when it comes to tough knights. ]

I had intended on trying my hand at some of the other games on offer here, as well, but I believe that may prove rather difficult now. [ considering he can barely see over the bear he won, much less try and do two things at once... that, and he'd feel bad stripping the place of prizes that others might have won. ]

[The mun was thinking tartar sauce at first, since apparently it's very yellow here, but it can also be curry sauce if you like! Nakama hands over her plate, her attention turning back to the table. But oh, she's getting so full...]
