[ To think that she’d only been wandering idly, and the next thing she knew she was colliding into someone else. She didn’t know who the person was but it was clear that whoever they were, they weren’t paying attention to wherever it was they were walking to. Before she could get a hold of her sharp tongue, she was already attacking this person with it. She had to work harder to fix this habit of hers, for Miketsukami. Now that they were a couple, she needed to be nicer to him. ]

Hmph! [ A fold of her arms as she tossing her long hair over her shoulder. ] Are you blind or just stupid? To not see me at such a close range... those eyes of yours must really be malfunctioning. If I were you, I’d advise you watch your step when walking around here for not everyone is kind enough to let this kind of thing pass.

[ Of course Mikado's aimless wandering would land him in somewhat of a pickle! This girl seemed to be quite mad at him, and for such a petty reason, it seemed. He didn't realize he'd get on someone's bad side so early in the game. ]

Um! S-sorry... [ He looks away, trying to avoid her harsh eyes. It takes him a moment, but he speaks again. ] I was distracted. [ Shifting his look back at her with more courage. ] I didn't mean to upset you. If you could overlook my mistake, that'd be great; after all, this city is pretty overwhelming as it is.

How can I say no when you say “sorry” with such a pathetic look on your face? [ She couldn’t tell if her bad habit was getting better or worse at this point, but it did seem to be leaning more toward “worse” than “good.” It looked like she still had a lot of hard work in front of her. ] Well, I suppose I don’t see the harm in letting your carelessness slide for the meantime. As far as the city being ‘overwhelming’... I suppose if you’re new, it does seem that way.

Eh?? Excuse me? [ Goodness. ] My face? [ She said "pathetic" too didn't she? ] Um... [ SHOULD I APOLOGISE FOR MY FACE, TOO??? ] sorry?

[ He pauses again. ] ....Thank you. [ ... ] I am... um, new. It's a lot to take in, but I think I'll have to make do. [ A nervous laugh, he tries to warm things up a bit. ] Do you like it here? Assuming you've been here for some time, that is.

Heh.

[ It was an interesting question, she’d give him that much. However, her answer wasn’t one that could easily be decided. After all, many things had happened to her during her time in Asgard -- good things, bad things. Even so, with every day she was finding herself adapting to the environment more and more as it almost -- almost -- felt like home. True that a lot of her companions were absent, but she’d managed to make some new ones in their place. But, most of all, she had the person she loved with her here; that in itself was a blessing. ]

... I suppose it has its quirks, so I can’t exactly say that I fully dislike it here. So long as you don’t upset the Gods, you can be sure that your life here will be smooth sailing. Of course, that’s not to say that they don’t enjoy their pranks every now and again so, out of pure kindness, I’ll give you this one warning: keep an eye out for anything odd that happens.

If it made this person feel any better, she’d pretend she never heard it so she responds only to the first part. ] I mean with the city in general, obviously.
