[The snacks are laid out and music is playing. Although several people offered to bring along a little something, the kitchen area is stocked full of sandwiches, chips and sweet snacks as well as drinks, both of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety.

This is totally going to be the best party Asgard has had, ever.]

This is the first time Jade and I have ever ever thrown a party! Or even been to a real party actually, so we're gonna make the most of it.

She chuckled at that. She did know 'Russian' courage when she saw it, even if she wasn't that heavy of a drinker. A sip and she blinked. A stiff cape cod came with a pretty good bite, but not so much as to make it unpleasant.]

I guess, then, this is kind of a first for both of us. I'm not much of a ... eh, screw it. Everything here's new for me.

[Picking her own drink up, she takes a long sip from it.]

[Somehow the idea of Cranberry and coke sounded a little... off. Of course, if the point was to get you drunk, flavor wasn't necessarily as important.]

I guess it's a way to meet some new people I wouldn't otherwise. You guys have a lot of friends after all. Anyone you don't know yet come over?

Actually yeah! I already spoke to one guy I don't know yet, and another was in here putting sugar in his drink.

...I really think though that between the two of us, Jade and I pretty much know two thirds of the city. Everyone's cool though, maybe you can make some new friends too!

I'll try. Little tricky, but it isn't impossible. At the very least I can wander around once the alcohol's hit and see if anyone interesting crops up. [Another sip.] You at least seem in your element.

That's a problem that won't fix itself right now, and I'm not going to push it. I hurt someone she cared about when I was crazy at one point. She won't want to talk, at least not now. Maybe sometime...

But I should bug Feferi. She's a sweetie, and Pumpkin Head needs friends too.

I... really haven't ever had a casual talk with her before. She's really serious most of the time. Everyone thinks well of her though.
