Girls Night Out (Closed)

Who: Samantha and Eve
What: Relaxation at the Folkvang Hot Springs
When: 178 Evening
Where: Folkvang Comfort House
Rating: PG-13 for 'tasteful nudity' (coincidentally placed steam, awkward glances but don't expect too much description.), maybe some awkward topics, but nothing serious.

In the back of her mind as thunder peeled in the distance, Samantha idly wondered why she'd never come here before. She knew the answer well enough, and the fact that the idea of taking a bath in a hot springs felt too public even if a smaller private bath was being rented.

Still, she'd been the one to suggest it, and Eve was one of the few people she was comfortable enough with that she might try it. She had been gaining a few people she was closer to, and the strange, pushy girl had a way of getting in under her skin rather easily. Somehow, she also seemed just vain enough to appreciate a bit of pampering like this place was known for.

And so she waited, self-consciously watching the road outside of the comfort house for Eve. It was getting chillier out these days. The rain pelted down outside and she rested her umbrella beside her at the wall while she enjoyed the protection of the awning. Frankly, on a cold day in hell like this, hot springs were probably a good thing. Especially when you could get a private and enclosed room with the bathwater drawn into the little pool.

"It was on sale," she replies, briskly and obviously trying to save face. It wasn't entirely a lie, as it had been at a cheap enough price for it to be considered a bargain when taking her salary into account, but, really. She honestly just really liked the frogs--not that she'd admit it any time soon.

She follows her inside, allowing herself to be escorted and taking in the sights. She had stopped by the comfort house before (once or twice, mostly after something particularly messy occurred), of course, so it was somewhat relieving to see that it hadn't suffered any serious damage from the battle. Still, when the other girl speaks up, she can't help but to narrow her eyes a bit.

"One," she begins, pursing her lips in annoyance. "If you think that's going to be my new nickname, you better step out of third grade. Two, I've been fine. You?"

She rolls her eyes, following their escort around the corner and not deigning that with a proper response. Once motioned towards the changing rooms, she steps inside after Samantha, placing her umbrella in the corner (because like hell she's leaving that anywhere else), and then bending down to remove her shoes. Without looking up from her task as the other girl speaks, she nods, more or less absentmindedly.

"That's good," she says, easily, slipping off both of her shoes and then her socks. "Pinch is your business's name, isn't it?" And, of course, just as if there wasn't anybody else in the room with her, she proceeds to slip off the rest of her clothes, folding them neatly and stacking them where she could easily access them when she came out. Once that's done, she grabs one of the towels provided by the comfort house, pulls it on, and proceeds to stare expectantly at her.

And, yeah. She didn't forget. She just doesn't care.

She cocks an eyebrow upon seeing her back, making note of the weird anatomical details, but merely chalking it up to the fact that she wasn't quite human. At the very least, scarring seemed to be one of the less disturbing things she could find on another body--and she did highly prefer to see grotesque scarring to finding out one of her acquaintances had a second mouth on some other (highly disturbing) location of their body. Scarring was normal, human, and something she had gotten used to seeing since she picked up Scorpio. Definitely not something worthy of her commentary, and as such, she simply stays quiet until they start walking towards the other room.

"That's usually one of the things a job's good for," she replies, agreeing despite the fact she couldn't help but to frown a little. As good as having money was and as good a distraction working is, she can't really appreciate it when compared to other, far more active activities she could partake in. Such was the life of a lazy teenager who preferred to be able to do things whenever she pleased, and not according to a schedule.

Regardless, once they are in front of the baths, she simply proceeds to slip in without a care in the world. This was such a good life decision.

"Duh. You sound like you've never been in a spa before," she responds, quietly, as she crosses her legs and leans against the walls of the pool. She closes her eyes for a moment, enjoying the warmth of the waters, before pausing and lazily opening one of her eyes in order to glance at the other girl. "Haven't you?"

And, really. If the answer happened to be no, she was going to have to expand her list of things Miss Samantha Gray was seriously missing out on. Even if she hadn't been invited to come here today, she would have most likely ended up stopping by during the week, anyway. The warmth of the waters were a much needed respite to her body after everything that had happened lately, and she really couldn't imagine what kind of poor, tortured soul didn't know about how amazing taking a dip in one of these babies felt.

"Hot tubs aren't all that good, if you ask me. You've been missing out," she responds, matter-of-factly as she slings one of her arms over the edge of the tub--just because she could. A posture like that wasn't very ladylike in the slightest, but as she is now, her main priority was more along the lines of getting rid of every tense muscle in her body and less along the lines of making sure she was still perfectly poised. It was equivalent exchange, in her opinion.

Still, she hums a little, drumming her fingers against the floor and contemplating the wonders of succubi biology. She'd never heard anything about body temperature before, so it might be another weird world difference. "What about the cold?"
