[closed] If things come alive, I'll subtract pain by ounces
Who: Ezio (
sicarius), Euri (
occulthymns), and later- Kaz (
parasiteye)
What: Euri misses Kaz and wants him released, so she goes off to find Ezio
When: Day 191
Where: Odin to the jail, most likely
Rating: PG-13 at most, there will be swearing and angst and other things
[It's funny how things seem a little bit too much of a coincidence to happen all at once. Newcomers to Asgard, several of them allies and brothers, a breach in the Creed soon after, notices of recruits being taught through alternate methods to his own, and arguments spurred from each one. It's as if the gods were choosing to grab the Bureau by the horns and drive it straight into a china shop. Everything was a mess.
Ichigo was still asleep, Connor and Aveline still adjusting to the Brotherhood, and Altaïr still being a hardass and causing trouble wherever he could. As a Mentor he had expected troubles, but sometimes they made him want to rip his beard out in frustration. There was only so much he could do, and at times, even that did not seem like enough.
Today he works, as always, in the shop, Needle In A Haystack. Behind the counter, with other customers, talking and listening for what they have to say, or request for. It's a slow day, so while there are tasks left to do for the latter end of the day, he can push them off for later, if necessary. Secretly, he's thankful this is a point where he can at least relax a little, and not worry so much about how the Order will go from beyond this point.
Of course, things never stay simple for very long.]

It's about Kaz.
no subject
[Oh boy. Already this doesn't sound good.]
no subject
I want him released.
no subject
For what reason? The guard keeps him there because he is a traitor.
no subject
no subject
...fine. We will go. But do not be surprised if they refuse, or if Kaz says something different from what you expect.
no subject
She turns away from him right away, heading for the door.]
He won't. Come on.
no subject
So he makes a motion to his employees, who nod, and then quietly follows Euri out.]
no subject
(As she pointedly ignores how fucking terrible she is at manipulating people, despite being half Witch.)
She's going to be mostly quiet as they walk to wherever it is Kaz is being held!]
no subject
Soon enough, the prison comes into view, and Ezio pauses as he sees it, looking to her once again.]
Are you certain you wish to do this?
no subject
[She's responding quite firmly, and in fact speeding up when she spies the prison. She's not even hesitating at entering.]
no subject
He just hopes Kaz won't cause such a hassle with him. Prison is not kind to traitors and he expects the other to treat him with absolute hate.]
no subject
Which means he's also sort of got a small cold now, but that's nothing he hasn't champed before. What he's really interested in is the sound of footsteps coming down the hall. Oh goodie :T ]
no subject
... And then irritated when she shoots Ezio an impatient scowl.]
He looks awful.
no subject
But he finally acknowledges her words and nods, if only slightly.]
Sì, he does.
no subject
no subject
How do you unlock this thing? [Because her knowledge of human justice systems, including the jails, falls short once you get past "catch criminal and give him over to guards/police".]
no subject
[Ezio gestures to the lock by the cell door, then looks back at her.]
Piccina, what are you planning?
no subject
Her other reason for wanting to get closer to Kaz is a bit more awkward, so she shifts her weight from one foot to the other.]
... He's probably hungry, too.
no subject
Still, his head tilts at the scarf, curious, but not asking. It's incredibly clear that Euri is close to Kaz, and that is one thing he will not ignore or toss aside in this entire matter. Even if she has to see the truth.]
no subject
He'll glance back over at them, obviously interested ]
no subject
This is completely and utterly embarrassing, having to do this in front of Ezio, but at least it'll help her case when she starts explaining things. She's giving Kaz an expectant look.]
Well?
no subject
no subject
But he really wants that scarf. And more than that he really wants the blood inside Euri's arm, so with a wary shift of his gaze between the two of them he'll push himself up and approach the bars, stopping just out of reach. ]
......
[ Very quickly he'll snatch that scarf and hastily wrap it around his neck ;u; and, you know, hiss at Ezio for good measure ]
no subject
Also he looks adorable in the scarf.]I've got some mittens and a hat I'm almost done, too.
[As she says that she's trying to stretch her arm out closer to him.]
no subject
no subject
His eyes will dart to Ezio and her outstretched arm several times though as he grinds his teeth. He...is really hungry now that he can smell her, wow. Ezio doesn't smell that bad either for that matter :|; ]
no subject
no subject
She brought me here to prove your innocence. Euri wants you to be released.
no subject
no subject
Because - because it's obvious you attacked that person because you didn't have much of a choice! [Mostly.]
no subject
It's obvious from the look in his eyes, however, that he still doesn't trust Kaz at all.]
no subject
He could admit to the crime and stay locked up, which would mean no Thiazi... But doing that might risk her impatience. She'd expect him to get out as soon as possible. Which meant any delay...
Eugh. ]
...Is it okay to eat right now? He's not going to attack me?
no subject
no subject
I have no intention of doing so, so long as you do not hurt her.
no subject
Yeah okay he's going to go for it, taking a half-step forward and watching Ezio as her opens his mouth and bares his fangs...and chomps right on down into the muscle, completely ignoring any veins and such. He wants dem nutrients, not iron poisoning ]
no subject
H - he's a spider demon, so he can't survive off typical food.
no subject
Luckily for her, Ezio's power is healing, and he'll more than likely take her hand once this is all over.]
no subject
...Obviously, he doesn't and pulls back after a few minutes, coughing a little and wiping extra traces from his mouth. ]
no subject
Normally he just bites me, but I had gotten sick from that virus and by the time the war started he still wouldn't. [Because really what animal likes to snack on sick things?] He was practically starving by then.
[When Kaz is finished she's lowering her arm very carefully. With how pale she is the bite marks stand out like crazy.]
no subject
[His voice isn't harsh, but gentle, and he approaches her quietly. With a silent glare towards Kaz, Ezio extends his hand.]
Give me your arm. I understand your concern for him is great, but your own health should be considered just as well.
no subject
no subject
no subject
You place a lot of trust in him.
[Said towards Kaz, with a biting edge of "and he has yet to prove that he deserves it" in his tone.]
