WHO; Buffy Summers & Rupert Giles.
WHAT; A Watcher Watches.
WHEN; Just after she finds out Sam's gone.
WHERE; Gefion Park.

WARNING(S); Angst.
[ Hearing that Sam was gone turned into a blow that she wasn't actually sure she could take. She'd grown stronger here, that was for certain, compared to the fragile state she'd returned in when she'd fallen asleep. Being ripped out of Heaven and coming back here took a lot out of her. But things had progressed and she had a life here, a happy one (more or less). Losing Sam... Kind of drove a wedge into that happy little mortared brick wall of strength. More than ever, she was grateful to have Giles back here again.
She'd called him as soon as she was finished talking to Dean. Once the shock wore off, the hurt started to sink in. The denial was swimming around in there somewhere, too, but she shoved it aside. The realist in her wouldn't let optimistic folly get in its way. She wanted to get away from the claustrophobic enclosure of Thor house, didn't want to stick around Odin where Sam frequented the library... She wanted fresh air. She asked him to meet her at the park, by the lake. It was as open and fresh air-y as anything could be.
So she sat, staring at the sun's reflection in the water, waiting for him. She was ready to jump to her feet and hug onto him like he was her only lifeline.
