[Hisahide, being the gentleman that he is, invited Takane Shijou for a cup of tea in the park. The man had his own tea set, after all. It took some wrangling but he got it in the end, and it even resembled the ones he had back in Hi-no-Moto.

Having set up the table, the tea pot and the small receptacle for the flame to keep it warm, the cups and the mat underneath a convenient gazebo - Hisahide sat down crosslegged. He enjoyed cups of tea, but very rarely found anyone worthy enough to share it with him.

Fortunately, at least Takane seemed civilized and intelligent enough to appreciate it.]

One who has governed a portion of a rising sun's land... hm, governance.

[Hisahide contemplates the thought. He never really governed. At least he'd like to think he didn't. Governance is so tedious.]

I am a curator. Though governance is simply part of where my duties lie, ultimately what I have in my possession is nothing more than things that take my interest at the time.

But this intrigues me for it means that you must have encountered my name in the past, or at the very least a version of me which makes you presume something of this nature.

The murmurings of historical texts may only glean so much from those they seek enlightenment on. There is much to be gained from direct interaction with the individual in question than mere words can accurately portray, of course. I must regrettably admit to knowing very little.
