[It's nighttime day 38 and Mary is... up too late. Again. With another library book, because being social is hard, when she hears something she's grown to hate this past week. She has no name for it, no clue what it is, but it sounds like... honestly, it sounds like terrible. It's offensive.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mary does not like rap.

Eventually she goes out to hunt down the source of the noise. Let's dance, fucko. 8| ]

[In which Mary waltzes right into the room and stops dead, still not used to the robot alien... thing. He makes her hand itch for her gun. Mostly, though, she stops dead and crosses her arms prissily.]

Are you the one making that racket?
minifridge: (keeping up)

[Your sheepishness will not save you, weird alien thing!]

What was that... noise, anyway?
minifridge: (= it's make or breaking this)

[She's not as speciesist as she could be, dudebro.]

Art? Really? [Well now she feels... sort of bad? Because what if she just insulted their religion or something.]
minifridge: (= i heard you laugh)

Sorry if I insulted you, it's just- uh. Not something I'm used to.

[This very quiet resident of Sigyn house can often be found just reclining in the living room, book in hand as he pores over it with those lidded blue eyes of his. And if not there, then he is just standing near the window, staring outside.]

[One has to wonder what he's thinking as he gazes out onto a world with no color.]
dragonspeak: (We'll have to keep looking)

KITCHEN

[personal profile] dragonspeak 2012-02-17 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
[There's a warlock sitting at the kitchen table, scribbling something on a sheet of paper, a half-finished piece of bread pushed aside and forgotten next to him. Occasionally, he sits back and frowns at the ceiling, thinking something over. Then, after a few minutes, he goes right back to it, his left forefinger tapping against the table as he works.

Other times, he'll crumble a bit of his bread and offer the handful to the small owl perched daintily on the chair next to his.

Approach?]
dragonspeak: (Was that actually a compliment?)

[When Merlin looks up, he frowns at Tavros in a rather distracted way.]

My...what?
lethechained: (uh....)

[Naminé's is a rather unobtrusive presence; she's quiet and withdrawn and she spends her day involved in activities just as much so. She's out a lot, frequently at the library, but if she's 'home', she's likely either sifting through the network or curled up somewhere with a book from said library. She doesn't eat much, but when she does, it's usually something that does not involve much actual preparation. This girl's diet is terrible. That's pretty much an average week for her these days, but recently, she's been looking a little preoccupied.]
rewrites: Momoka smiling, close up on her face (one line at a time)

[Momoka, always looking to meet new people, smiles at the girl reading.]

Is that a good book?
lethechained: (...that's not right)

[personal profile] lethechained 2012-02-18 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[Naminé isn't expecting to be addressed, so when she looks up, her eyes are slightly wide. She recovers quickly enough, though, and lowers the book.]

-- Oh. Sort of...! It's not a story or anything, it's-- educational. [It's a medical book, actually, and a dry one at that.]
