Who: Anders Johnson (sweettalk) & Alex Millar (frothing).
What: After a first contact through video, Anders and Alex meet for a drink.
When: Day 355, late afternoon.
Where: The Roadhouse.

[Anders promised a date to Gaia but it is with Alex that he wants to spend some time for now. The Scottish young woman seems fun and fun is what Anders needs.

As often as possible.

So this is why he now wanders into Hel House, knocking at her door. Let's hope she didn't forget that meeting... date... thing.]

[ The last date she went on ended in a disaster so just in case, she wears a pair of jeans instead of a dress, just in case she dies and gets ghosted again. She does not want to be stuck in a dress again. It's kind of dark but that's Alex's life.

She answers the door with a smile because Anders seems like a descent bloke.]

[Oh and she's looking quite cute and sexy like this, though he wouldn't mind to see her in a dress once. You know, to check out her legs and stuffs. Would she mind if he touched ?

Anders smiles back, tilting his head on the side. Alex, if you knew.]

Hello, Alex ! Nice to meet you 'live'. [And she's way more pretty than on a video screen too.]

[frothing]

[ Alex is a tomboy of sorts, although once she's sure this date isn't a disaster and maybe they go out again, she'd put on a dress. Maybe. But her jeans do a fine job of showing off her legs as she grabs her leather jacket to pull on.]

Likewise. [ She smiles, sizing him up for a moment before she steps out and closes the door behind her.] I'd invite you in but unless you want Tom trailing us, we'd better get out of here fast.

[Then Anders'll make an effort, he has been told to try, that it could be nice to date someone. And Alex seems to have a lot less issues than his last and late girlfriend.

And damn fine legs.]

Tom ? Who's Tom ? [Oh no, don't tell him she has a brother or something... ? He offers her his arm and smiles, though a bit nervously.] Let's go then.

[frothing]

He's my flatmate. [ And basically her brother. ] Don't worry, he's just a little bit protective. [ She grins, taking his arm.] Show me the pub.

[sweettalk]

A protective flatmate... As long as he doesn't try to butcher me in a dark alley, I guess I can do with it. [And even try to use his Telepathy if needed. He still has to discover if it could replace Bragi's powers.

Good thing the bar is not very far, it is chilly that evening.] They have the best scotch and vodka.

[frothing]

Tom's not the type to butcher. More like stare at like a sweet puppy until you feel bad for doing things. [ except when he's a werewolf but the wolf is gone here.]

Scotch? [ bigger grin.] Now you're speaking my language.

[sweettalk]

I never feel bad for doing things. [Well, maybe a tiny bit. But she doesn't need to know about that. Not yet, anyway.

Wolf ? Anders likes only his fish.]

Ah... Glad to know we have that in common ! [He pushes open the bar's door and let her in first. It never hurts to be a gentleman.]

[frothing]

Well, he's not very keen on me going on dates or the idea of me being 'disrespected'. I don't think he realizes that I like a good snog every once in a while. [ she laughs, moving through the door of the bar.]

It may be a wee bit cliche but I am Scottish and I like my scotch.

[sweettalk]

Mm... A good snog, uh ? I like those too... Fortunately, I have no one trying to stop me to have some. [He chuckles and follows her inside before guiding her to what became his favorite table.]

Scotch and vodka... I'm very faithful to both.

[frothing]

[ oh, well, then. she grins a bit cheekily.] Tom's not here to stop me either.

Which are you more keen on?

[sweettalk]

That's an interesting thought... [And he really wouldn't mind snogging her.]

Mm... Scotch, I'd say. My mother's company produced a fine vodka though.

[frothing]

It is, isn't it?

[ her interest is piqued.] Your mother produces vodka?

[sweettalk]

She did ! She was quite a productive business woman. [And Freya's reincarnation.]

[frothing]

[ her smile stays cheeky at the talk of snogging but she lets the subject change as she orders herself a drink from the bartender.]

So did you work for her or...?

[sweettalk]

[He thoughtfully considers the glass of scotch the barman just left in front of him.]

We kinda did, for a bit, before she died. [More like was murdered.] I have my own PR agency though.

[frothing]

Oh. [ having been dead herself, she knows that... well, it's awful.] I'm sorry...

[sweettalk]

Thank you, I guess. [He offers her a small smile.] We were separated for a long time, it's sad it ended this way, especially for my younger brother

[frothing]

I know it's not the same but my mum left me and my brothers. Being someone's kid isn't always easy.

[sweettalk]

Yeah... Both my parents abandoned us but I'm not sure it would have been better if they had stayed...

[He clings his glass to hers.] Let's drink to dysfunctional families...

[frothing]

And to making our own. [ Because Tom and Hal were her new family even if Hal wasn't here. Let's not think about that when she's got this perfectly handsome and snoggable fellow sitting right in front of her. She clinks her glass to his once more before taking a nice, long sip.]

[sweettalk]

Yeah, to making our own... [He doesn't think he'll ever have his own family though. Being in Asgard made him realize how lonely he was. Sad, isn't it ?

He offers a small smile and gulps down his drink before asking the barman for a second one.]

So... How's life going for you in lovely Asgard ?

[frothing]

It's goin' I suppose. [ she gulps down her own drink to keep up, after all, it's nice to be able to have booze at all.]

That's good... I believe it's more easy when there's others from our worlds too.
