What: After a first contact through video, Anders and Alex meet for a drink.
When: Day 355, late afternoon.
Where: The Roadhouse.

[Anders promised a date to Gaia but it is with Alex that he wants to spend some time for now. The Scottish young woman seems fun and fun is what Anders needs.

As often as possible.

So this is why he now wanders into Hel House, knocking at her door. Let's hope she didn't forget that meeting... date... thing.]

Do you have anyone from home?

Yeah... There's this girl, Gaia... Maybe you know her ?

[frothing]

I haven't met too many people yet.

[sweettalk]

I guess you'd like her. She's... My brother's girlfriend.

[frothing]

You sound a little unsure about that.

[sweettalk]

Well... It's a very complicated story.

[frothing]

Good complicated or bloody awful complicated?

Second option, of course. It pretty much fucked up my whole family's life.

[frothing]

That... does not sound very good. [ she watches his face for a moment.] I suppose it's one of those things you don't really want to talk about. Not first date material?

No... [Anders waves to the barman to get another drink.] You're right... I don't think it's date material at all.

So... You think we'll have a second one ?

[frothing]

Depends on how good the snogging is. [ she's teasing of course, a smile curving her lips that's nothing but cheeky.]

But I'd say your chances are good.

[sweettalk]

Well... No one ever complained about my snogging skills... [He winks and takes a sip of his drink.]

Then maybe we could try some dinner ?

[frothing]

[ that cheeky smile stays on her lips.] That sounds brilliant to me.

[sweettalk]

Mm... I'll try to find a nice place where to eat, I suck at cooking.

[frothing]

Well, I'm not terribly picky, not after not being able to eat for a while. But going out is alright or I can cook us something.

[sweettalk]

[Wait... What ?]

Not being able to eat for a while... ? What happened ?

[frothing]

[ Her gaze goes to the ceiling for a moment before her lips curve into a nervous sort of smile.] Not exactly first date talk but... before I came here. I was technically... dead. A ghost. [ her eyes return to his face.] I was still rather new at it but yeah... I was sort of... you know, murdered.

[sweettalk]

[Alex, excuse him while he blankly stares at you for a moment.] Well... You look rather fresh for a zombie.

[He laughs a bit and takes a sip of his drink. When he looks at her again, his eyes are gentle and his smile very soft.]

I'm sorry, Alex, I really am. I'll listen if you want to tell me about it... [He reaches for her hand but allows her to decide if she wants the touch or not.]

[frothing]

Ghost is definitely not the same as zombie. We smell a lot better. [ or not at all, really. but she laughs and takes a swig of her drink.]

I'm alright. [ she lets him take her hand but her nose wrinkles a moment later.] Not first date talk.

[sweettalk]

[Anders laughs with her and squeezes her hand a bit.]

Alright, not first date talk. So, what should I do now ? [He moves his stool just a bit closer.]

I hesitate between telling you a secret about me or kissing you...

[frothing]

Well, considering you've already told me a secret...

[sweettalk]

Oh true ! Then...

[Anders leans closer, slightly tilting his head and brushes his lips against hers.]

[frothing]

[ she just grins, triumphantly before she returns that kiss, leaning in closer as their lips press together.]

Triumphantly ? /giggles

[Her lips slightly tastes of scotch (he likes that) and he softly nips on her bottom one, trying to get more access.]
