Frost Fairy Hospital Log [OPEN]

Who: OPEN TO ALL! Tag everyone, treat it like a party log, except it's a hospital and people are injured so it's not much fun for the characters involved.
What: Get yourself treated at the hospital for frostbite! Heal people of said frostbite! Meet others in a sterile environment!
When: Day 39 & Day 40
Where: the hospital in Sigyn district
Rating: PG-13 at most, probably.

Given the sudden outbreak of dangerous frost fairies, the hospital is sure to be bustling pretty soon with both the grey people and the travelers! Stop by for some frostbite treatment or help those who need treatment out. The hospital can probably use a few extra hands, given the city's current situation.

[Naminé's been at the hospital for a little while now, working to help the injured. She's been hoping not to see any familiar faces, but at the same time worrying about not seeing them - because at least if they do get injured, being at the hospital is better than being out there amongst the cold and malicious fairies. Her eyes are on the ground as she walks into the room to attend to the next person whose turn it is; she's getting tired, but the sight of a very familiar shade of blond hair gives her a jolt and she raises her eyes to get a better look.]

[When Naminé arrives at the hospital, intent on offering her assistance, she's a little worse for wear and more than a little out of breath, but she's fully prepared to do her best to help. She's spent a lot of time lately with books on both medicine and magic, and her confidence in her ability has been growing slowly over time. Or at least, her fears have been somewhat assuaged; it wouldn't be quite right to say that she's confident so much as it would be to say that she's determined. Either way, she'll be getting to work attending to the injured.]

[Gau shifts a little on his knees, then glances around, his expression concerned and unsure. He really only has so much time, and he hasn't checked in officially to volunteer or anything, but...]

I... I could just do it? I'm not officially here or anything, to heal, but I could...

You single? Not that it matters to me, but...

I suppose... But It's better if people don't get hurt at all.

How are you ever gonna get stronger then?

[No one has used his full name in a long while now. Beyond Vanitas, of course. Then again, full use of his name warrants a warning alert in his head; either it's said troll, Master Xehanort, or worse, Master Eraqus reprimanding him of something. So he jolts in his seat when someone else uses it, and he cranes his neck as much as he can from his hunched position, teeth still chattering.]

N-namine?

[She's not aware of what caused the jolt; calling him by his full name was purely a reflex. All of the time that she was aware of his presence before actually meeting him, she'd always thought of him as Ventus, not Ven. The girl moves closer with quick strides, frowning.]

What happened--? [That's a reflex, too - she can guess. It's probably the same thing that happened to everyone else. Already, she's glancing over him, searching out his injuries with her eyes.]

I don't mind having weak powers if that means everyone is safe and healthy.

[D-don't make him say the obvious when his teeth is chattering! His forced smile comes off more as a grimace as he tries to reassure her.]

J-just ran into a mob of those f-fairies. Kinda waiting my turn here.

[She's sorry, really. That grimace doesn't do much to reassure her. Mouth still downturned, she starts to speak, stops, then turn to have a look at the clipboard nearby to check the list of who's next. One finger presses on it to make sure she's seeing things correctly, then she turns back to him, letting out a nearly imperceptible sigh.]

You're next. [Which is definitely a relief, because it's horrible having to see anyone like that, but it's even worse when it's someone she knows.]

[Castiel is indeed looking down at his arm, pushing the sleeve of his jacket up to reveal the wound alongside the other from earlier. He's not particularly bothered, much more pleased with himself for the second success.]

I will be fine. My power has increased.

Frostbite's a bit different though -- don't get it too cold -- or too warm.

[Why doesn't Conan think you're taking this seriously somehow?]

Is treatment of it that complicated?

[Because he's not. At all.]

[Larry stumbles into the hospital, entirely exhausted and in serious pain. He got a little too close to one of the seemingly pretty fairies and suffered for it. The nasty little fairy he ran into ripped some decent-sized cuts into his chest. He managed to get away, thanks to other Travelers intervening, but he's still in bad shape. Frostbite has set in and it's been a little hard to move ever since.

He wheezes as he makes his way towards, well, anyone who looks like they can help him.]

A-A little help here? [oh god it huuurts.]

The danger of frostbite is that when the skin thaws and refreezes, the nerve endings get damaged -- it was a major problem in the Napoleonic Wars when -- look, put this warm towel on it and find Momoka. She'll sort you out.

[Conan meanwhile is putting his many layers of thermals, t-shirt and sweatshirt back on.]

[Castiel accepts the towel, though he's also inspecting the frostbitten patches out of curiosity. At the mention of who to look for, he tilts his head.]

Momoka?

There! [Conan points her out.] She healed the cut, but the frostbite was too much. She knows a lot about taking proper care of it though.

[Kaz has the right idea (for once). Vanitas'll be showing up early into the fighting, with a small amount of frostbite just to make it look legit. But his real focus is on healing his previously injured arm further.

Instead of stumbling in like dramatically like most of the others, he just walks into the front room and waits for an available healer.]
