[It's certainly an unusual sight, to watch a child walk into Satan's lounge bar, but Syhon carries Katie's body with ease and a naturalness that sits weirdly on such a young body. There's a darkness in the girl's eyes, a darkness in the smile. Little do people know it's a demon who's twisting her features and moving her limbs.

Syhon sits in a quieter corner, with a glass of alcohol before him on the table. His eyes search the room, ears and mind open to listen in to people's thoughts. He's here because he wanted freedom, if only temporary, yes, but he's also here because he's promised Satan he would work on developing his power. Whatever it takes to serve him, he'll do it.]

[No offense in his tone, only because it was Satan's suggestion.]

Syhon, I'm the last person who follows the words from gods. [ obviously ]

But this IS their world. They do know how it works. If you don't want to die, take everything you can, if not all. [ Though Satan is fucked up in the head and does plan on killing the cosmos, he doesn't want Syhon to die.

Call it contradictory, but it's true ]

You would bow to them, Satan?

[There's a bit of surprise in it now.]

[ if eyes could kill, Syhon would be dead right now with the glare Satan gives him. ] Don't be an idiot. [ he doesn't bow to Father, much less to some dumbass powerful immortals who call themselves gods ]

I'm not saying bow to them. I'm saying ask them. Or make the girl ask them for you.

[That's what Syhon thought - what he expected. His intention was not to irritate his lord, however.]

The girl will do me no favors. But I will try.

[granddevil]

[ he grabs his glass of wine, taking another sip ]

Isn't it of her interest, though? She wants you out of her body as much you want to be out of her body.

[A pause.]

That's true. But every girl has come to accept our union is inevitable. Perhaps she would no longer know what to do without me.

[That's a thought he likes to entertain. Her helplessness. Mortal helplessness without the demon-gods to boss them around.]

[granddevil]

Of course she won't. With you, she has power.

But knowing how proud she is, I doubt she'd want to admit that. [ he flashes an amused smirk ]

[Syhon could accept that smirk. They both knew the girl well - she wouldn't admit to being powerless without him, much less now that she'd been given the power of a god as a new gift. There wasn't much she could do with it, unlike Syhon. His telepathy was ready to use at any time.]

And without me she could not fight those spirits. Perhaps we can arrive to some sort of arrangement after all.

[granddevil]

[ Satan nods, a way to say "see? You can make her do shit if you think it through". After, he leans back in his seat, in a relaxed manner ]

Do you need anything, Syhon? Besides getting rid of Katie. [ Satan may be able to provide if he does. BECAUSE SATAN LIKES HIS DEMONS OK ]

I would not think to pester you with my wants or needs.

[he wants alcohol. he wants sex. he wants violence and mayhem.]

[ that's why he's your king, syhon ]

Syhon. You are the only person in this place that may ask something of me. Worst it can happen is that I will say no.

... I want to serve you. To destroy and corrupt in your name.

[No, really. That's pretty much his purpose.]

[ Satan smiles. It's not a surprising answer; demons are, after all, violent and destructive by nature.

His hand does reach for Syhon (it's Katie's body, but Satan doesn't really see her), lifting his chin softly as the archangel leans towards him ]

You will. [ he promises you that. Things will get destructive soon and Syhon can kill, maim and corrupt as he pleases ]

[he had to remember not to call him 'the unholy one' again. Demons and their need to please.]

It won't be long.

[ that's all Satan says before he pulls his hand away. Either Syhon understood that Satan is indeed already planning something or not, the archangel can't really tell him more - because of katie )8 ]

[There's almost a glow in Syhon's eyes when he hears that. He knows perfectly well what his master means - and the chance to see him at work so up close... it's a privilege not many demons get to have.

He smiles and nods.]
