"With all the powers these gods have here, you'd think they'd make decent roads." It's a strained joke, and his face turns slightly red as embarrassment courses through him, suddenly self conscious. He scratches at one eye, before nodding, looking up at the grassy hill to one side of their path. "Not apple grass but we'll have to make due."
