For those strolling by some of the bigger houses in Thor district who happen upon a very pretty blue police box in front of a house with a gryphon sitting beside it, they might happen to hear a waling sound. It's muffled, at first, but the closer you get to the blue police box, the louder it becomes. If they stand right in front of the doors that are to be pulled, not pushed (though they can certainly open that way, regardless) they will hear screaming, sobbing, and the broken nonsensical words coming from within. It's loud, it's distinct.

If they opened those doors, they'll see that the police box is not a ship that is bigger on the inside. It's exactly the size the box suggests, but it's empty.

Except for the little occupant curled up in a ball clutching a stuffed rabbit to her chest as she leans against the walls of the box just sobbing. The dragon beside her is doing his best to comfort her but there is really no comfort to be offered when a mother is gone, when a best friend is gone. When after weeks of forgetting and remembering and not sleeping and people disappearing, for it all to finally end with those who had really left...

So many names; friends, acquaintances, people she had lost before and regained, people she had never lost ever before until this moment.

Too many names. Too many names that mattered, mattered most, mattered more, to her.

Her mother was gone, her best friend was gone, all that she had left were things of them. It was like they were dead only worse because it was only so long as she were here, she could remember them, and not even then. She didn't even get to keep their memories without Asgard trying to take that away from her.

And if she did leave, there was no telling if she would ever remember them after this.

It was too much.

Her mother was gone, her best friend was gone.

She had dealt with heavy loss before, brothers, idols, dear friends, but she had always had them to turn to, to talk to.

She clutched at her chest as if it were in actual pain, as if it were actually broken as she just kept screaming and sobbing in a box that was just a box, a shell, of the woman she had come to call mother while clutching a rabbit given to her by her best friend who wasn't just a best friend, who made her go red in the face and made her smile brighter than she might usually just because he was there.

Tears were endless, her nose was stuffed and she looked the sight, howling as if in pain.

Because she was in pain. Not physically, that could at least heal with time.

This was a deeper wound, a wound on the heart.
