Angel of God, my guardian dear...
Who: Father Mulcahy, and anyone who wants to bother him
What: Prayers and peace, and practising with growth
When: Any time in June
Where: The Park
Rating: ...PG? He's a priest, it won't get much higher than that.
It was hard being a priest in a city of gods. That much was clear from the very start. But it didn't stop Francis Mulcahy from trying his best. As far as he was concerned, it was just another test from God, and one which happened to be a very personal battle.
The great outdoors was always peaceful for him, which is why he found himself in the park, having used the solitude to pray, and try and regain a sense of equilibrium. But something kept annoying him - this power he was supposed to have, which he'd been ignoring since arrival. So, spying a dying daisy as he sat on the grass he began to focus on it, willing it to grow again. Plants were something he so loved, and they did bring joy and life to so much.
