OPEN; THE NEIGHBORS CLUB WELCOMING PARTY

[mishaps]

Who: Anyone interested in attending the party announced a few days ago. Hosts of the party include Kodaka (mishaps), Sena (meatshields), & Yozora (playerkills). This also includes those who signed up for the speed friend making activity and other club members! Anyone who is even slightly interested in the club may post in the log (but please, only those who signed up for speed friending event participate in it!)
What: The Neighbors Club is having a welcoming party/practice party! Hooray for activities and welcoming back Kodaka to the club. Please ignore my fail of typing the event as speed dating as it is speed "friending" my bad!
When: A few days after it the initial party announcement post.
Where: The Neighbors Club Room located in Sigyn.
Rating: PG-13 AFAIK!


[Kodaka had left most of the event planning to Yozora and Sena as it was actually something that kept them busy. Kodaka knows when those two are idle and bored, bad things happen and they just end up fighting. He's actually surprised how much Yozora has taken this party thing seriously... and he's still shocked that it's technically meant for him. He's had birthdays with family members and school members, sure, but nothing like this; he's never had friends throw a party for him. He assumes Yozora throws the party for practice mostly, though.

He places a tray of onigiri (with various stuffings such as salmon, chicken, and picked vegetables.) down on a table next to a bowl of punch. There are cups and plates also on the table. He hasn't made this much food since he was back at home, and he actually doesn't mind. It's something for him to do, and without school and Kobato around, it feels like chunk of his life is missing.

He looks at his bracelet and realizes people should start coming in soon.]

We should get a few people and help you look for her.

[at least he feels less butthurt about his cooking now.] I just cook meals for myself and my sister mostly these days.

[ the first statement takes him somewhat by surprise, so much that he might never finish that ball ] ... It's good. The food.

Is this club any good for that sort of function?

It's not why we exist, but I'd think some people wouldn't mind help you.

It'd be... appreciated.

I can't see it doing more harm than good. [ he is being honest and open for once, frank, but very realistic. he is surprised by the suggestion, but pleased. ]

I'll bring it up to the club, but you'll have to be there with me to convince them. We could say it's an activity on learning how to help your friends.

[giver]

Trick them into doing it? Is the club really filled with that sort of people?

[ but despite saying that, he seems to visibly relax in the confidence that tricking people to do things was more secure than actually asking them ]

It's not a trick, but it's good to point out what members would learn from it so they'd feel more involved in it and work harder.

You have a lot of friends, right? You help them out when they need it the most, don't you? Even when it's not easy.

[giver]

You could say that.

I'm glad for the opportunity, then. [ an afterthought: ] Have you found your sister?

No I haven't. [he's quiet for a little bit.] I searched in a district she'd probably be in, even some others, but no one has seen a girl like her. Not to mention she sticks out easily from a crowd.

[giver]

The districts do seem to attract a certain type of... person.

What district did you think she'd be in?

[mishaps]

Possibly Freyr from what I was told of it.

From what I remember, your sister would probably be in Sigyn from the way you described her.

[giver]

It does seem to fit her. [ a gentler smile at the thought of his sister ]

Have you used your powers yet?

[mishaps]

Not much, what about you? What can you do?

[giver]

Not much.

I see you survived the ice fairies. [ in an off-handed sort of way at least say "i'm glad you survived" kanba ]

[mishaps]

Seems you survived, too. [and that's his way of saying 'thanks glad to hear you say that i guess......'] I just stayed inside or in the club room.

[giver]

I suppose they weren't dangerous fairies. I didn't hear of any causalities.

The healing powers, though. They could be useful.

[mishaps]

People getting hurt is enough, but it's good no one was that badly hurt.

Yeah, they can be. You still haven't told me yours.

[giver]

I don't know it. It's obviously not fireball, at least.

I just hit them and they shattered easily. [ hit them with a bullet anyway same thing ]

Maybe ask some other people in your district? They might know.

Were they that easy to kill? Even then, I'm not sure I could kill them unless I had to.

... You have a kind heart. Like my younger brother.

It isn't bad. [ no why kanba why did you first think it as bad... ]

You have a younger brother? [and they also share the same voice actor BUT WHATEVER random info whatever.]

I'm just not fond of it, and I'm not even good at killing things in video games.

[giver]

That sounds like him, too. [ THERE SEIYUU PUN DONE no it is never done... ]

I'm sure your club would protect you, if it came to it.

You mostly just talked about your sister. Aren't you worried about your brother?

[he shakes his head.] I dont' need them to protect me. I can hold my own good enough, but I just don't prefer using violence unless it's a last resort.

[giver]

He can take care of himself. My little sister is... ill. [ but that is all he wants to say on the matter, and his lips twitch shut in a straight line. ]

I'm sure your friends... I mean, your club, would want to, nevertheless. That should be comforting.

[mishaps]

[oh... he doesn't say anything for a bit, looking away because oh no that is sad and he doesn't know what to say besides the obvious 'sorry to hear that' sort of superficial comment.] Makes sense.

They might want to, but I'd like them not to form that mentality.
