OPEN; THE NEIGHBORS CLUB WELCOMING PARTY
Who: Anyone interested in attending the party announced a few days ago. Hosts of the party include Kodaka (mishaps), Sena (meatshields), & Yozora (playerkills). This also includes those who signed up for the speed friend making activity and other club members! Anyone who is even slightly interested in the club may post in the log (but please, only those who signed up for speed friending event participate in it!)
What: The Neighbors Club is having a welcoming party/practice party! Hooray for activities and welcoming back Kodaka to the club. Please ignore my fail of typing the event as speed dating as it is speed "friending" my bad!
When: A few days after it the initial party announcement post.
Where: The Neighbors Club Room located in Sigyn.
Rating: PG-13 AFAIK!
[Kodaka had left most of the event planning to Yozora and Sena as it was actually something that kept them busy. Kodaka knows when those two are idle and bored, bad things happen and they just end up fighting. He's actually surprised how much Yozora has taken this party thing seriously... and he's still shocked that it's technically meant for him. He's had birthdays with family members and school members, sure, but nothing like this; he's never had friends throw a party for him. He assumes Yozora throws the party for practice mostly, though.
He places a tray of onigiri (with various stuffings such as salmon, chicken, and picked vegetables.) down on a table next to a bowl of punch. There are cups and plates also on the table. I'm Hasegawa Kodaka, and I'm one of the original founding club members of the Neighbors Club. Since we're here to learn how to make friends and build our skills and our experiences on making friends, if you want you can call me Kodaka. No need to return the favor if you're not comfortable going on a first name basis.
[oh god what else should he say.] Usually you'll find me reading here or just relaxing. [more awkward pausing.] Hopefully for those who aren't in the club you'll think about joining, and if you're already a member. It seems the club has grown a lot. SPEED DATING EVENT
Just like we promised everyone, it's time for an intensive practice run at the most crucial part of social interaction! This is that stupid Yozora's idea originally but I guess it's got some merit to it. After all, not everyone is lucky enough to be famous that their reputation would precede them so they have to rely on making a good first impression! Isn't that stupid? There's a time limit when it comes to that-- Ah, is that Utena-chan?! Utena-chan [ waving madly ] sit over he-
[ THWACK! The Yozora Flyswatter strikes at Sena's head. Nothing unusual here, though she avoids Utena's gaze when she insults Sena. Again. ]
Shut it, Meat. The amount of trust I placed in a worthless slab of meat has now been wasted on equally worthless words. Why doesn't anything of value come out of that mouth of yours? If our club members don't understand the instructions, at least I'll easily find the one at fault.

[ After copious amounts of research, Yozora has found a new method to train her fellow club members in preparation for their rich and fulfilling life outside the club - speed friend-making. The whole point of the matchmaking process will serve as practice for new and old members alike for making conversation in the hopes of, well, befriending with them.
Here's how it will work: the participants will be seated in chairs arranged in two circles, like so. ]

[ The person seated in front of you is your partner. You will be given five minutes to converse with them. Once the time is up, (signaled by either Sena's shrieking, Yozora's hitting, or the bell) the outer circle (blue) will rotate counter-clockwise. ]
