OPEN; THE NEIGHBORS CLUB WELCOMING PARTY

[mishaps]

Who: Anyone interested in attending the party announced a few days ago. Hosts of the party include Kodaka (mishaps), Sena (meatshields), & Yozora (playerkills). This also includes those who signed up for the speed friend making activity and other club members! Anyone who is even slightly interested in the club may post in the log (but please, only those who signed up for speed friending event participate in it!)
What: The Neighbors Club is having a welcoming party/practice party! Hooray for activities and welcoming back Kodaka to the club. Please ignore my fail of typing the event as speed dating as it is speed "friending" my bad!
When: A few days after it the initial party announcement post.
Where: The Neighbors Club Room located in Sigyn.
Rating: PG-13 AFAIK!


[Kodaka had left most of the event planning to Yozora and Sena as it was actually something that kept them busy. Kodaka knows when those two are idle and bored, bad things happen and they just end up fighting. He's actually surprised how much Yozora has taken this party thing seriously... and he's still shocked that it's technically meant for him. He's had birthdays with family members and school members, sure, but nothing like this; he's never had friends throw a party for him. He assumes Yozora throws the party for practice mostly, though.

He places a tray of onigiri (with various stuffings such as salmon, chicken, and picked vegetables.) down on a table next to a bowl of punch. There are cups and plates also on the table. He hasn't made this much food since he was back at home, and he actually doesn't mind. It's something for him to do, and without school and Kobato around, it feels like chunk of his life is missing.

He looks at his bracelet and realizes people should start coming in soon.]

[ whether or not she heard that right, her response is automatic ] Then it’s decided!

[giver]

Then it's decided.

[ leaning forward... ] Be prepared to lose, then. Are you ready?

[patronizing]

Hmph, that would be my line. [ leaning in closer. . . god is she actually doing this ]

[giver]

After you lose, maybe I'll treat you to ice cream out of pity.

[ almost there... ] Ready, set...

[patronizing]

Hah, don’t treat me like a kid. I don’t want to get any cavatites due to your pity gift.

[ noo oo they’re getting closer ] ... Go.

[giver]

[ he gently puts his hand on the back of her head, not to push, just to nudge and then linger there, as he kisses her softly

but true to his word, he is also holding his breath the ultimate test kiss ]

[patronizing]

[ wait what is that soft tingling sensation she just got on her lips, wait hold on what what ]

[patronizing]

[ hold on a minute. the gears are turning in her brain again now that she isn’t burning with the burning passion of competition. like she’d declared though, she was holding her breath even though it was making her lungs hurt and the urge to cough was high ]

[patronizing]

[ the urge to scream or shout was nigh, and even though the longer she held her breath, the more painful it was making her lungs. stupid game. not to mention the fact that all the blood is rushing to her head, making her dizzy. ]

[patronizing]

[ like before, she could actually hear her heartbeat. she could hear all the blood pumping in her body, making her face get more and more flustered and a little tint of purple. ]

d...on...ee

[patronizing]

[ and she pulls herself back, giving herself some air in her lungs once again as she panted and wheezed. her chest actually hurt, stupid kanba. ]

Wh. . . Wh. . . are you doing?

[giver]

I win, then.

[ but drawing back his hand now, to elaborately and deliberately touch his own lip with a somewhat smile ] Soft.

[patronizing]

[ wheeeeeze ] Hah. . . I merely. . . let you win. . . so to not [ WHEEZE ] wound your. . . ego. . .

[giver]

Thank you for that, then. [ a slight bow ]

But victory does taste [ he puts a little more emphasis on the word 'taste,' touching his lips ] very sweet.

Hmph. Isn’t it natural for it to taste like th..a...t -

[patronizing]

[ OH GOD SHE GOT WHAT HE MEANT ]

That’s not how you play the game!

[giver]

It's a perfect way to make sure nobody is cheating. [ it's a practical game ]

[patronizing]

I never cheat! If anyone were to cheat, it would’ve been you. [ shaking in so much rage and anger here ] Next time I’ll be sure to rip out that tongue of yours!!

[giver]

If it's tongue action you wanted, then you could have just asked. [ and a little bit of his tongue flicks out... ]

[patronizing]

That’s not the point!!

[giver]

Hmph! I guess I have no choice but to spell it out for you. [ getting out a piece of paper from somewhere, as well as a pen, and she starts writing ]

[patronizing]

[ she then holds up the piece of paper and on it says: ]

I do not want your tongue anywhere near my mouth. [ and added in, although extremely small compared to the rest of the sentence ] Sorry.

[giver]

[ for a second, he looks like he has another dirty one-liner like then do you want my tongue on other places on your body

but he just gives in to a small shrug, leaning back ] You don't have to apologize for that.

[patronizing]

[ she knows that the apology wasn’t really needed, but she was saying it more for earlier when she couldn’t say it and instead derailed the conversation by saying how she was hungry. a ghost of a pout appears on her lips before mumbling; ] H-Hmph, I felt that if I didn’t you’d feel your tongue wasn’t good enough.
