OPEN; THE NEIGHBORS CLUB WELCOMING PARTY
Who: Anyone interested in attending the party announced a few days ago. Hosts of the party include Kodaka (
mishaps), Sena (
meatshields), & Yozora (
playerkills). This also includes those who signed up for the speed friend making activity and other club members! Anyone who is even slightly interested in the club may post in the log (but please, only those who signed up for speed friending event participate in it!)
What: The Neighbors Club is having a welcoming party/practice party! Hooray for activities and welcoming back Kodaka to the club. Please ignore my fail of typing the event as speed dating as it is speed "friending" my bad!
When: A few days after it the initial party announcement post.
Where: The Neighbors Club Room located in Sigyn.
Rating: PG-13 AFAIK!
[Kodaka had left most of the event planning to Yozora and Sena as it was actually something that kept them busy. Kodaka knows when those two are idle and bored, bad things happen and they just end up fighting. He's actually surprised how much Yozora has taken this party thing seriously... and he's still shocked that it's technically meant for him. He's had birthdays with family members and school members, sure, but nothing like this; he's never had friends throw a party for him. He assumes Yozora throws the party for practice mostly, though.
He places a tray of onigiri (with various stuffings such as salmon, chicken, and picked vegetables.) down on a table next to a bowl of punch. There are cups and plates also on the table. He hasn't made this much food since he was back at home, and he actually doesn't mind. It's something for him to do, and without school and Kobato around, it feels like chunk of his life is missing.
He looks at his bracelet and realizes people should start coming in soon.]

[ it's a guess, but he can feel the blade at her throat, and he'll make the guess. if he's wrong and she kills him, at least he'd still be right. but he softens slightly at his own question. it's not like he honestly feels apologetic, but it isn't like he's cold about her feelings, either. ] Sorry. You should be proud of what you can do, but I thought you came here to get away from it.

She shoves down the confusion that arises within her. She's not ashamed of what she's done, and she's only proud that she's done it in her Father's name. She feels anyone who has to be in her world must know that about her: that she would never have regrets about the body count she had amassed for him. Sadly, this did cancel out most people that would be considered "normal", and she was sure people inside of there wouldn't approve of her actions if they had known the extent. It was a reason why she felt a distance with the crowd, despite many of them being perfectly kind and congenial.
She shakes her head, slowly, and the dagger eases at his throat. Still pointed at it, but the steel of the blade is no longer against his skin. ]

he already has plans for her himself. ] My sister wouldn't care. She'd like you no matter what you did.

She drags her dagger to where he had placed the barely-kiss and gives it a tap, then shakes her head once more at him. ]
no subject
blankly
but he tilts his head and furrows his brow in somewhat deep thought ] Did I give you bad food?

You actually did like the picked vegetables more than the chicken. Is that it?

...she will just get frustrated and walk off to go stab trees.
She holds up her left hand, which effectively releases the grip she had on his shirt, and takes a step back. She then gestures at her ring finger with her knife, glowering.
Also, what kind of person do you think she is of course the chicken is better... ]

Did I kill your husband? [ honest curiosity here. ]

She just wanted to make sure he didn't do it again. She felt that all options were offensive. If he meant it, then not only was she spoken for -- but why would he do such a thing without asking her, first?
And if he didn't mean it, and wasn't sincere about the action, then what was the intent there? Was he joking? Did he want to make her confused? After his initial reaction to her showing him she had been armed, she didn't know what to believe. And now he was just confounding her. ]

but he still doesn't put away the gun. ] I don't mean to upset you.

She puts her knife down completely, and lifts her dress slightly to strap it back to its holster, withdrawing first and trying to show him that she had no intent to harm him in the first place.
And another few steps back. ]

If you don't tell me what I did, though, I might do it again.

Unsatisfied. Tell me what I did. Being punished for sins I do not know is better than sins I did not do, but both are poor choices.

You kissed me. It was very insulting. Do not do that again. I will cut through the roof of your mouth.
[ She tosses it back to him. ]
no subject
but then he gives in to his twitchy faint ghost smile. ] I see. Sorry about that, then. I didn't mean to insult you.
no subject
It means a lot to her that he apologized. And though it confuses her more regarding the intent of the action in the first place, she feels she can put it behind her. ]

[ he does run his tongue over the roof of his mouth, though. ] And I'm sure your husband is a lucky man.
