Who: Killua, Gon, and anyone who wants to come visit!
What: The boys have decided to get an apartment together and have just recently moved in. Any friends who may come looking for them would have gotten a message with the address, so... Housewarming shenanigans welcome!
When: Day 548 and/or 549
Where: Loki Apartments, #103

It's not like they have a lot of stuff. The place isn't too big, but it's plenty, and it's theirs, and that feels kinda cool.

Maybe it's a good thing they haven't got that much stuff though. Gon's boxes are scattered about despite Killua's nagging for him to unpack, and there are already dishes in the sink and a stray sock or two (mismatched) peeking out from underneath the bed-- so, basically, they're already doing a good job of making themselves at home.

Most importantly, however, Killua has managed to procure them a little flatscreen TV from somewhere and even some games--and things to play them on, of course--since Gon is horribly uneducated when it comes to video games. He barges in loudly, kicking the door open, and immediately goes to set things up in front of the slightly musty couch.

"Gon! Where are you? Get in here!"

He may have also forgotten to close the door.

She's only too grateful to step inside. It's chilly out!

"That's good! I don't bake pastries a lot, but I cook dinner every night." Between herself, Aladdin, and Eyes, every meal disappeared the day it was made. Or, well... mostly Aladdin, considering the appetites of the other two...

"If there's any other kinds of cookies you like, please feel free to let me know! I made them for everyone last year for the holidays, so I think I might do something like that again this year, too!"

"Really? That would be great, Hibiki! But, I want to give you a present in return, too!" That part of what the holidays were about, right? Exchanging presents.

He'd definitely have to figure out something that Hibiki would like. Not only that, but he'd more than likely take some more cookies without much hesitation. It'd be like trading presents with one another! After all, he had full intention on giving her something special.

"--Huh?" She sounds mildly surprised to hear that, though by no means unhappy. "Oh... Um, if you want to, I'll look forwards to it! Only a few people gave presents before, so I think I probably surprised a lot of my friends when I gave them gifts, but... Really, I just like being able to do something for the people important to me."

She's been shown so much kindness since she got here, it was only right that she did something in return...!

"Um... Is there anywhere I should put these for now, or...?"

"Sure! You can follow me." He begins to lead her to the kitchen. Never mind that their place was a mess - things like clothes and pillow thrown everywhere, along with boxes just placed seemingly wherever.

"You have an apartment too, right?"

...Wow. It's a little like when she didn't have time to clean up after Shii-chan. She tries not to stare at the mess too much as she follows him.

"Oh-- Um, yes, I do! With Aladdin-kun."

"Ah-- I know him! I ran into Aladdin at the festival." He comments, entering the kitchen with Hibiki.

He hadn't known that they lived together, though.

"Really? That's great! Aladdin-kun is a really good person." And really smart, too-- he was the one who figured out runic magic and brought it back to the city!

"He and I have a lot of animals, so we live together with them in our own place. It's nice having extra space for all of them; it got really cramped in my room trying to take care of them all." Because she just collects random critters, somehow.

"Really?! What kinds?"

Gon was really an animal person, honestly. He had grown up on an island without any kids his own age, so he'd spent a great deal of time with animals instead.

"Well... I have a hummingbird named Kiri, a Cyndaquil named Fiery, a sheep named Mary, a gusk named Hiroaki, and a hamster named Teddy." She counts them off on her fingers to make sure she doesn't forget anyone!

"As for Aladdin-kun... actually, most of his animals are magical, so I'm not exactly sure how to describe them..."

"A gusk and a Cyndaquil? I've never heard of those. Are they animals from here?"

His face lights up when he hears about the second thing she has to say. "Magical? Really?! We had some creatures that were like that at home, but they weren't the kind you kept as pets."

She shakes her head, smiling. "No, they aren't. Gusks are creatures from my world, and Cyndaquils are from another... There was once a group of people who had animals called Pokémon, and one of them gave me an egg that hatched into a Cyndaquil. I've taken care of him here ever since." Her voice is a little wistful; she does miss them, sometimes. Red, Ethan, Bianca, Silver...

"Aladdin-kun seems to know all kinds of things about magic and magical creatures. It's probably why he wanted to create the magic guild."

"That sounds amazing." Amazing, and interesting. He wanted to know so much about everyone's worlds. His own world was such a fascinating place, so how would other worlds be...? "I'd like to see them sometime. I've never heard of Pokemon, either!"

[saving_sound]

"Once you have time, you can come visit if you'd like! They love to play, but I can only play with them a little bit after work..." The troubles of having two jobs, alas.

"Sure. You should let me know when you aren't working. I don't do it myself that much, so I'll probably have time." He only did various odd jobs, anyways, and most of them were pretty easy so far.

[saving_sound]

"Well... usually I'm busy cooking after work, and then I visit Eyes-san..." Because if she didn't, he wouldn't eat, that guy. "Maybe... around 7 is when I get to play with the animals for a while before bedtime. You could come then if you'd like!"

"You have a lot of friends here, right? That's really great, Hibiki." He was happy for her. "Okay. I'll visit you then!"

"Mm! Everyone's so nice, it's really easy to make friends here!" She still can't quite believe it herself... She never would have dreamed she would have so many friends, especially not all at once. "Great! I can still check my bracelet even when I'm at work, so just let me know what day you'd like to come over!"

"Okay! It'll be fun. This way, we'll get to visit each others homes, huh?"

He pauses, something coming to mind. Didn't his Aunt always say he should entertain any guests that visit? "Hey, we should do something while you're here!"

[saving_sound]

"Uh-huh! ...I might need to clean up before you come, though. The animals make things messy so quickly." Fur, feathers, wool. It's a crazy life at her apartment, that's for sure.

"Oh! Well... if you don't have everything unpacked yet, I don't want to impose or anything." That would be rude of her! "--Or maybe I could help you unpack a little?" It's honestly kind of hard to tell what they're doing with everything scattered as it is, so she hopes she isn't being presumptuous.

"Do you really want to?" Gon's eyes blink a bit in surprise, but he wouldn't say no to her help, either. Then again, a helping hand might be what they need. The unpacking was going fairly slow, and Gon and Killua bickered more than they unpacked.

"I still have a little time before I need to go home, so I don't mind helping while I'm here!" She might as well make herself useful somehow.

"That'd be really great! I could repay you somehow later." He grins at her, expression genuine. "I'll tell you where everything goes as we unpack. How about that?"

[saving_sound]

"You don't need to repay me! We're friends, so... I want to help out any way I can!" She'd feel bad, making Gon have to go out of his way to do something when he's already so busy with moving. "That should be fine! Should we start on the boxes in here, then?"

"Friends help each other, right? Then, I want to help you in return!" Gon was quite stubborn in his words. Once he made a decision, there was a great chance he wouldn't change his mind.

He looks to the boxes where she was looking to. "Okay." He walks to one sitting at the top of a pile, beginning to tear the tape from it with ease. "I don't really remember what's in these." He didn't have as many things here as Killua did.

"You really don't have to..." But she'll go ahead and leave it at that. They have things to unpack!

"Um... Let's see..." She'll open up another box at random too. If they know what's inside, they can at least figure out where they need to put it all...
