( closed ) a convict, a witch and a useless terrorist walk into an amusement park

Who: Ange (entreats), Senji (deadcenter) and Shu (departing)
What: Day 54, during the day.
When: After the whole stabbing thing is over Senji decides to take the kids out to the amusement park. Yup. Be a family man.
Where: The Dark Carnival aka Hel's amusement park
Rating: A for Awful but I'll update accordingly later.. Let's say PG-13 for now just to make sure (mostly since Senji is a pottymouth).

[ Amusement parks weren't really Ange's thing, not anymore, but.. nearly the moment she got out of the hospital Senji had asked her to come along to the amusement park along with Shu, and she couldn't really muster up the effort to refuse. It isn't like she has anything to lose with going here either way, it might be a little good against boredom with the way those two guys are almost comical when they're just being themselves.

That's why she now finds herself at the gate to the amusement park in Hel. It's close to where she's staying, so she's there first out of the three of them, just casually leaning against the fence as she waits for the others to show up and meanwhile mulls a little to herself about some recent arrivals in this place - those witches. ]

[ Wait, what is going on-- oh god she's being lifted off the ground. It's like her adventures with Amakusa all over again, except now it's Senji doing it..

This is ridiculous. 8| ]

This is pretty much the weirdest solution to that problem ever. [ That's all she has to say, still deadpan.. at least she doesn't have to tsun or flail as much now as she does when Amakusa does it to her, so she isn't exactly resisting, but she's agreeing with Shu here. ]

And you're right, Shu, please don't take lessons from this.

[WALKING WITH ANGE...WALKING...WALKING.... okay, the weird thing is gone and he sets Ange back down on the ground.]

[ Give her a moment to stretch her legs as the two of you bicker.. but when she speaks up it's still deadpan as ever. ]

Just let him do it like this if he wants, Shu. You know he's not good with those kind of things. [ although yes-- WHY DIDN'T HE USE SHU, she wonders this too! 8| ]

Don't expect to be allowed to just carry me around like it's nothing normally though, Senji.

[TRUDGING. ON. EVEN GOING AHEAD OF SHU!! HE'S NOT AFRAID!!

And looks like some zombies are moving around now too.]

[About time Senji.

Shu's been spacing out this whole time so he doesn't even notice the zombies. Still unphased by everything ever. Though this is more enjoyable than talking to other people. He isn't complaining.]

You know, if you keep stomping on blindly or spacing out, both of you are going to run into a wall in this place eventually.

[ why does she feel like she's the mom here for once.. ]

I'm sure the exit is pretty close to here, so let's hurry.

[SCREW THIS! He goes and rounds a corner- FINDING THE EXIT!]

There it is! Let's get the hell outta here and get that cotton candy already.

[Ange snaps him out of it. There he stopped spacing out.

Now he's just blankly staring at Senji. Dude. What?]

[ ... oh my god-- Shu, Ange can easily see through Senji too but the rule with seeing through people is that you don't ever say it out loud unless you want them to flip!!

Okay, quick thinking, Ange, before we have Shu's intestines splattered all over the ground. ]

... Hey, let's just hurry as Senji said, I mean.. yeah, I'm starting to get a little hungry already. [ A lie, but-- COME ON, SHE'S ALREADY QUICKLY WALKING ON, THIS MEANS YOU SHOULD DO THE SAME AND NOT KILL EACH OTHER!! ]

[Senji stops in his tracks- turns around, and somehow he pulled out a dagger from his jacket- GOD DAMMIT SHU WHAT HAVE YOU DONE! And he's stomping over to Shu- but looks like Ange is in the way 8|]

Hah?! You wanna say that again you little prick....?! I'll fuckin' gut you right here if you talk like that.

[Enge why?

It's all Shu's fault he's socially stupid, but what do. Since he's been attacked over and over again here he's actually prepared this time! And now pointing a regular hand gun at Senji even though Ange's in the way.]

Senji!

[Suddenly looking serious. No trace of his former dumbfounded look remains...except what took it's place was a horrible bad decision.

Shu you do not pick fights with Senji. For your own health. Don't.]

Put that away. Right now.

[Okay, that was the most he could manage. Reality check: Shu is still a wimp so his voice was trembling the whole time. How do I terrorist again?]

[ ... Guys, will you please not point weapons at each other while there's a girl still standing inbetween you. 8|

And she can notice both Senji's frustration and Shu's uselessness spinelessness easily, yet it's so.. so frustrating almost, that these two just have to be such idiots and blow up at each other for no reason at all that she herself is getting annoyed at it too. Seriously, they were out to have some fun, and they had to do this to each other over nothing but a few stupid lines? Gaah... ]

Both of you, stop being idiots and just drop those things already!

[ Yes, she's actually raising her voice for once instead of being completely deadpan. Congratulations, first time seeing Ange emotional it's actual frustration.

It helps that she has body control powers though, so she can just use those as she shouts - Shu's side is much easier than Senji's side, she can feel that much resistance-wise, but she does get their hands to open at least so they drop their respective weapons on the ground as Ange glances at Senji, turns her head to Shu, and then back. ]

Listen, Senji, you just know Shu often isn't.. really aware of the fact that there should be something like a filter between your thoughts and what you say and isn't the brightest with what he says, so don't get too worked up over it. And Shu, you don't need to immediately go and point a gun at a person, especially not when said person is someone you get along with, terrorist or no terrorist.

[ ... god, please let the tension be resolved now.. why does she have to play mama Ange here. ]

[He's even more pissed at the fact that she's controlling him- opening his hand up and making the weapon fall to the ground. He clicks his tongue, and he glares at Shu before he just bends down, grabs his weapon and puts it back in his jacket.]

You're damn lucky red was around Shu- I probably would have tried to cut you up. Cheh.... still, you were braver than I thought you'd be.

[and he turns and goes to the exit...]

[departing]

[Senji you're confusing him. Stop complimenting him right after he pointed a gun at you! That's not how it's supposed to go!

Ange why did you get in the way? Sobbing.

Though Ange's comments are literally swords blowing at Shu's self esteem. He's going to go home and cry after this is over. ]

What do you mean by filter?

[Still not getting anything you guys are saying.]

[Then he grits his teeth out of bitterness. Ultimately avoiding eye contact with Senji and Ange. Picking up the gun he dropped as a distraction so it doesn't look like he's running away from anything.

Just staring at Senji's back after he walks off.

[ Okay, while Senji's stomping off she can at least say this much to Shu without Senji hearing it and flipping out.. She turns her back towards the exit just for a moment, enough to face Shu and talk to him. ]

I'm not expecting you to do nothing to a guy with a knife. It's just.. well, you should know the way Senji is by now, right? He'll start flipping out if you question his status as a tough convict and all. [ Even if she knows he's really a good guy underneath. ] You just have to watch your words around him the same way I do, that's all.

... Come on, let's go too already.

[ Running a little up to the exit to catch up to Senji. ]

Hey, are we still going to get that candy or not?

[Yeah he didn't hear any of that, thankfully. He's rubbing the back of his neck as he looks around- turning to glance down at Ange.]

Yeah, we are. Just gotta find the damn- oh.

[and he's sauntering off to the cotton candy stall....]

You know I can't do that. It's hard enough for me to follow the conversations you guys are saying much less watch what I'm saying---

[He doesn't care if he gets left behind or not so he's going to be walking the whole time. ]

[ Don't make her have to pull you along, Shu. 8| But fine, fine, mama Ange is occasionally glancing over her shoulder to make sure Shu is still following.. and then they get to the stall and all get cotton candy AW YEAH cotton candy makes everything better.

So yeah, I'm assuming they're just.. sitting down on some random bench in the park now.. Ange's sitting in the middle since she doesn't trust them sitting next to each other. ]

There, this is better, isn't it..? [ pulling small pieces of cotton candy off hers to put it in her mouth.. ]

[OKAY WHOA TIMESKIP AND THEY ALL GOT COTTON CANDY AND SITTING ON A BENCH. Senji is occasionally looking over at Shu, he can see over Ange after all, to make sure the kid is behaving and not trying to pick a fight again B| ]

I forgot how sweet this shit is... [bites more off!]

[He can feel judging glaress. That terrifies him more than anything else so he'll just cry.

Cry while eating cotton candy. Sounds like a good plan.]

[ Glancing over to Shu as she speaks and-- wait.. is he crying?! WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON HERE, GUYS. ]

... Shu, I know the cotton candy is pretty good, but it's nothing to cry about, you know.

[Senji rolls his eyes and reaches over to smack Shu in the back of the head.]

Stop cryin' kid, I don't hate you or anything.

[He didn't expect that. If it weren't for Ange, Shu would have left a long time ago. ]
